How about implementing one of those dungeon bosses in PvE world environment?

It feels that the bosses on dungeons were specially designed to counter zerg spams. Think how well that work outside. As right now, tons of events in overworld is a boring zerg spam. Specially the dragons and bigger chain events.

Lets see Subject Alpha as example. He would tear to shreds any type of group that just want to bumrush him. Add the number of crystals he can do and we have a hard boss.
Kholer from AC is another one. Imagine seeing him pulling 20 players and killing them in one shot.

I’m not asking to put those on the beginner areas but it would surely change the pace of later areas like Orr and break the monotonous of just smashing your keyboard on zerg fights to win. The closest thing from what i suggested would be The fire elemental, which actually requires a bit of teamwork to effectively kill the ambers and the boss. You need to pay attention or else you die.

The world is teeming with unnecessary people.

I think some of the world events just need a little tweaking to be honest. For example Jormag the Claw is actually quite challenging and requires a number of skilled/geared players to complete. All they need to do is fix the Mob Spawns and make sure players can’t stand in spots where they don’t get damaged.

sure, why not, as soon as they fix the excruciating lag. and the boring mechanics.
