Quick question for all those experienced in “longer” lupi solos/duos.

In phase 3 when Lupi becomes mobile, no matter where I’m standing (in his target circle to avoid bubble), he always seems to drift to one of the doors and instantly reset. Time after time it’s causing me to have to restart the entire fight.

What can I do to help prevent him doing this, is there a way I can stop him when he starts to move, or a way I can stop him moving there to begin with?

Can I ask, if I stop moving and lupi “positions himself”, will that mean he will not attack me with his bubble?

Lupi will move away from you if you get too close. If you sit at max melee range he’ll remain stationary.

He actually spews out bubbles like crazy on max melee range.

He moves when you get inside the red target circle, or very close to it.

“max melee range” usually refers to being far away enough that auto attacks no longer trigger (red bar under your auto skill), but close enough that you can still hit him. As dub said, that’s a bad idea at Lupi.

Oh they are, they make lupicus reset in less than a millisecond.

If he resets its because you have gotten out of combat. I have pulled lupi out of those doors when testing some things, so the doors are not the issue. The issue seems to be all party members are either all dead/out of combat. Stay in there at throws some dps his way.

These guys have a way to make you feel excluded if you don’t belong to the club.
Chuck, the door you were talking is the open door while they were talking about the close doors.

There is only one open dor so one can’t be talking about the open door*s*.

Well, Dub. The least I could contribute to this thread is proving that your English comprehension is better than mine.

It’s not about exclusion. He gave an incorrect answer that was horribly counterproductive. “How do I stop lupi from resetting on doors?” “He doesn’t reset on doors.”. Not very helpful.. But really your best bet is to keep him off the doors and stay outside of his model to avoid moving him. Don’t stand too far away though, or risk eating single target projectiles and domes.

If you push him inside the closed doors, he will reset.
