How difficult is twilight arbor?
Somewhere in the middle pretty much, not as brain-dead easy as AC or CoF, but not really hard or time consuming compared to some of the higher lvl dungeons.

I run full clears with my mesmer almost everyday (forward/forward | forward/up | up). If I have time, I will do another full clear with my guardian. Except for blossoms, the other aspects of the dungeons is pretty standard and all 3 paths can be done in good time.

I have not ran TA since the latest patch, but prior to that the average PUG could do a full-clear of Fwd-Fwd in about 45 minutes.
first champion and F/F boss are the most annoying thing i ever saw in a dungeon….
the vines that basically says “no you cannot play, just wait in a corner while your party plays” is possibly the worst designed battle i ever saw in a game……
And people seems to think “its doable so its good”….tell that to that player focused by vine…i m sure he will have so much fun….
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
it’s an easy dungeon minus the knights. the starting vine part is easy as pie if your party isn’t dumb enough to try and go ranged. sit in melee range and it won’t be any trouble.
i’ve soloed it as a melee with a ranged party after they all kept wiping instantly.

hint some classes/builds will die as fast in melee.

Which classes/builds are an issue?
My last run of it was with mesmer, using sword/focus against the vines. Has no problems. While not an outright glass cannon, I’m closer to that than bunker.
imo, TA Up-Up is the easiest path in any dungeon. If you’re after TA armor, you should be good. If you’re on warrior though, remember to bring a Longbow instead of a rifle, as the rifle has trouble hitting blossoms.
without a guardian you will die with a Glasscannon with light in melee…

Path 2 (Forward-Forward) is one of the most time consuming and hardest part of this dungeon. I don’t really mind peoples saying it’s easier than some other dungeons, but certainly not a walk in the park. (Except of course if you skip everything with stealth/tricks, but your average lvl 55-60 groups normally don’t know these)
If your group is not geared/sync enough, you won’t finish path 2. Better to farm path 1 (Up) and path 3 for badges, they’re are just fine. If you have multiple 55+ character, you should have your set in no time.

After the recent nerfs TA is not difficult. The Nightmare vines red circles do very little damage and Leurent and company got mega nerfed so you can even do the entire pull at once now.
The only parts that may be hard for some people would be: Path For/Up nightmare tree. Not actually a problem, you can stand back and ranged if you don’t AOE the tree/send in illusions or pets. Single target the tree at max range and try to stay awake as no spiders bug you. Mesmer boss: she’s just irritating.
Ah I didn’t try it since the new patch, good news if path 2 is a bit easier. Thanks for the info!

I enjoy TA. Remember to bring condition removal as just about everything there will poison or knock you down. Up/Up is probably one of the easiest paths in any dungeon that I’ve done. The most difficult parts are the looooooong runs through Knights, Cultists, and Blossoms.
I also don’t think Forward/Forward is that difficult aside from the long run(longest of any path) you need to make if you’re skipping some silver mobs. I haven’t had many problems with it the last few times I’ve tried it though. Condition removal, stun breakers, speed, and rallying off blossoms are your best friends.
Forward/Up is my least favorite path. Those bees and the spider tree, I hates them. The mesmer boss isn’t that bad if you have a group that knows to get out of chaos storms and watch for confusion. The most annoying part on that section is being a staff mesmer. People just run right out of your positive chaos storms
Pretty easy if you arent doing it for the first time.
too easy… there is 1 encounter which can be challenging… everything else is easy mode… kinda like a longer version of cof with annoying poisened flowers all over the place -.- ….

Not sure what part of For/For you were having problems with, the Leurent pull was nasty but doable with stuns/blinds. The Knights in general are tough, but I didn’t fight any last time I was in that path, save the Leurent pull (which was a nightmare cultist, archer, knight and Leurent. Way easier.)
Like I said before, if you skip/stealth through most pulls, of course it’s not hard. Try doing it the “normal” way with a fresh group of 55-60 in greens, trust me it’s not for nothing they call it the Nightmare Set. Champion’s 1-2 shotting peoples, and only a waypoint at the entrance means you walk more than you actually fight if you wipe.
Of course with a full group of 80 exotic that knows all the strats/pulls/skip, you’re in for an easier ride. It doesn’t mean Path 2 wasn’t overtuned before patch though. There’s a reason they “nerfed” path 2 a bit, and I’m glad they did, my alt will be able to farm there with almost anyone now
