How do i find a dungeon in Guild Wars 2?
This website is great for finding/creating dungeon groups : http://gw2lfg.com/
And here’s a good overview of dungeons in general
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dungeon
edit : Dungeons in GW 2 are more challenging than the usual MMOs, so don’t feel bad if you die a lot before you get used to them.
My advice is to read up/watch videos like These so you get a basic understanding of what to expect and such.

Wow, grabs Kerosene and lighter.
Hmm, OK I’ve done a little forum research. The question is…
Epic Quest
Granny Rag Muffins wants you to collect corn in the corn field!
Go collect 100 stacks of corn for 100 XP each!
Come back when your level 80 and completed your daily saga of torture…
Don’t let the Evil Champion Scarecrow Kill you because your alone and its a group quest, you’ll always be alone! Muahahaha!
This Corn is important!
I find it very unappealing that the game relies on an external url to find its dungeons. Hey! That’s a whole new engine needed in the UI. Very sad..
Will you be playing this game in another 5 years? or was it fail right out of the gate?
It can be difficult to find a dungeon group without the external site, and if one does not have access to a guild or a time where all ones’ friends get on , the other alternatives would be:
- Go to the map/waypoint nearest to the dungeon and ask chat (Which you probably don’t want to do)
- Use the LFG option in game using the (Y) button an selecting the second tab on the left
However, I barely use these options and always use the external site. I know it can be a pain to have to go to the site, but after a while, you get used to it. I mean, all I do is go to the site and
- Highlight the character’s name listed
- Press (CTRL + C) to copy the name
- Alt Tab to GW2
- Click on the little party button on the upper left of the screen
- Press (CTRL + V) to paste the name
- Click Join
Yeah, it can seem like a hassle, but it can take ~10 seconds to do. I see your point though.
I just wanted to say thank you and my last suggestion of thought to the GM who reads this.
So much time goes into making these new games. Although, designed in a different way they all seem to go along the same line of the influence- whether from its preceding generation of designers or influence of its own design- which will continue to happen. But- when the consumers say, we have better thoughts on your own design which you need to consider- even though, you have taken aspect of this games development for several years now, it shows that: someone who would play these games for years as a hobbyist could make them more successful than the game developer who went to school for a decade.

@Azel
If you dont really want help, please refrain from making a post just to mock the game and its developers.
I don’t like your tone at all. If you are here to ask for help, I’m here to help you. If you are here just to bash, thanks for your 50 bucks & the door is that way. Just let me know when you develop an MMO, ’cause I sure as hell want to play it.
Moving on, what level are you? You can enter your first dungeon at level 30.
P.s. it’s Jimi, not “Jimmy”.
“You can’t have more than 10 HS decks because that would confuse people”
“30 fps is more cinematic”
I suggest getting a guild. Also, as you run dungeons, make sure to add any people you enjoyed running with to your FL.
