How do you Druid Tank?
Hey, i’m playing a druid since HoT release.
You may have a Cleric build (Armor/Weapon/Accessories) and Double staff
Heal close combat mates with your usual skills.
Utility slots :
Frost Spirit
Damage buff
Glyph of Empowerment
Damage buff (never use it as outgoing heal buff)
X
Much depend upon your preference or encounter.
You can fill utility slot with Fire Spirit (more condi damage), Search and Rescue (more utility), Glyph of Equality (break stun/grace of the land stack), Glyph of the Tides (if push is needed : VG for example)
Ultimate :
X
Here you can use Glyph of Unity (another grace of the land trigger/helpful for healing more people in CAF form), Spirit of Nature (more healing), or Strength of the Pack (stability/damage output)
Use your spirits (frost, or frost/fire) on CD
Use your empowerment glyph on CD
Switch to CAF when you have to burst heal (optimized healing/buffing rotation : 4/3/2/4) and switching back again. if you have issues healing people up, use glyph of unity (CAF version) for healing even more people.
For healing range mates, use your CAF 3/2/1
Here is my opinion about tank druid though : usual druid but the main downside is that you can’t really buff your range mate with Grace of the land..

So I guess there’s no Druid tanking then.
Is there an easy novice way to heal?

at the moment, the meta lfg don’t ask for druid to tank, but that doesn’t mean druid cant tank.

I recall it being talked about when raids were first released.
It probably never became a thing because it put too much pressure on a single player, you don’t have the flexibility for optimal positioning for heals/support, and going down means loosing your 2 most important roles at once.
druid tank can be a failsafe in case your tank dies for example on xera. Last week our tank failed gliding and i used +toughness food to take over on zerk druid so it should be np to do on more tankier setups you just heal against the damage and evade the big hits.
Pls no double staff… If you want to tank you can go for GS/Staff at VG (Autoattackchain can evade every hit if timed correctly) or just s+a/Staff or s+wh/Staff at Gorsevall/Xera/KC (they only burst some times, but dodgeable).
