Hanging out at Lion’s Arch for over an hour spamming LFG for a half hour dungeon is not fun…especially when you have to keep thinking of ways to switch up your message like “LFM!!”, “GLF2M!!”, "LF Explore!!‘, etc. so you don’t get blocked by the spam filter.

We usually look at the guild roster and if there are at least 5 people on then something like “I can’t help but notice we have 5 people on …”. Then we spend an hour trying to decide which dungeon to do :p.

but yes, just further promoting www.gw2lfg.com for those who don’t know about it yet. it does help a lot and i’ve gotten groups for SE, CoE, AC as well over the weekend.

Ask in guild: Who wants Y dungeon? → X more for Y dungeon.
Watch map chat while in Lion’s Arch and ask a person “Got a spot?” in response to LFXM or “Mind if I join you?” to those saying LFG.

If I’m putting a group together – non guild, I put one character at the map the dungeon is on and leave one in Lion’s Arch.

That’s usually what happens to us if I say “Who wants to go run some derngernz?!”

After I do a run and play with someone who can listen and doesn’t have tunnel vision I usually add them to friends for future runs
