Sorry if this is more well known than I am aware of, but I can’t seem to find a concrete answer on Google or the forums.

How many FotM levels are there? And how does this relate to the current range of Ascended gear that is in-game?

Afaik 80. Though there is a cap on AR that effectively means that the cap is a bit lower (50ish I think) until more AR is available.

There is no real limit to fractal level (as far as anyone know yet). However, you can’t launch a fractal higher than level 80. Therefore, if you want to progress further, you have to launch 80, finish it, then continue without exiting to level 81, then 82, etc.

After the last patch, there is a AR cap though, as it seems you can’t rez someone on the Maw map at 50+. Couldn’t test it as i’m not 50 yet, but it seems that even if you rez someone, he gets agony on him again, so it’s impossible to survive.
