New strat for us noob scrubs my group found by accident. run past the usual jump spot to fight and kill the wolf pat that patrols the upper level. Then from the awning above the ice troll whole group ranges him down. He will climb halfway up the stairs on the other side of the hallway and do minimal ranged damage to the group but easily healable. It is a easy take down with no chance to wipe.

If you want to range you can also safespot and go eat biscuits.

Range attacks are exploits. Melee attacks are exploits. Damage is an exploit. Killing is an exploit.

just double roll the jump, takes a few tries to get the timing, but it’s not overly difficult. I basically wait till he’s up in the air then double roll and take no damage.

How is it that meta groups are exploiters yet every pug strategy is some sort of cheese method of camping in a safe spot and taking 10 min to range down a boss? How is that not ‘exploiting’?

Any pug can afk-range a boss but very few pugs have the coordination to stack correctly. Apparently tactics that can’t be used by every group = exploit.

Amazing isn’kitten I had an Arah p3 pug where they pulled Crusher, safe spotted Mage Crusher, but said stacking at Wraithlord was cheap and didn’t want to do it.

It just blows my mind everytime I hear a new PuG strategy. I have not run with PuGs in a very long time. Until recently, I had no idea how many cheese spots they really have. It is frustrating to think about.

It is absolutely insane; the clamor you hear on the forums about stacking, etc… They see speed clear and have NO idea the coordination that goes into them. It would be fantastic to see the safe spots in dungeons patched. No wonder they say ‘no skips’…they are never in the same danger that a meta group is :P

Only thing I pug these days are 10/20 fractals (I want my mace :/ ) which my group typically doesn’t wanna run. The kitten these kids are coming up with to deal with Moss Man is incredible. I usually just leave but sometimes stick around with the hope that they mess it up and get rekt.

But nothing tops the eagle eye ranger who insisted that the group stacked might for him while he pew pew’ed Casualhunger Bloomhunger from behind a tree. I voted to kick and no one seconded :/
