Hi,

I need advises in order to kill the spider queen in solo. I heard a myth who said that if you melle range her she stop sending deadly AOE but in practice … even if i’m at melee range she send her AOE under her feet and i can’t dps her. Can you help me ??

And I’m playing as a thief, I take S/P+SB to try to kill her with a meta build but it’s not very effective

Once you learn her attacks you’ll find her easy! It will just take practice.

I know it won’t be easy to replicate it yourself at first, but keep trying. That’s the only way you’re going to learn.

If she’s about to do her poison spray attack btw, make sure you’re far away from her when she glows, because you can manipulate the situation in your favor. She fires poison where her target is, so if you stand near her then the poison will land where you are.

In the past that boss only used the poison aoe against people standing at range, but anet changed that so now you cant avoid the aoe atack anymore.
It was a good change because before that it used to be a very toxic enviroment in pug runs, where everyone had to stack in a corner and if someone moved an inch away from the corner the boss would use the aoe and wipe the entire group, that fight was not newbie friendly.
