Play the game, get the materials yourself and craft it mate

You can use that armor on 2 other classes. So you can play another class with it. You can also change the stats if you like.

I came, I saw, I lol’ed. This is like raiding with pugs, where everyone just complains and no1 asks what is actually going wrong or if anyone can give them some advice.

Top kek. That out of the way, Ascended armor is not only great for having top stats, it’s also swappable in it’s armor tier, so:
- Heavy armor can be used by Warriors, Guardians and Revenants and their specializations
- Medium armor can be used by Rangers, Thieves and Engineers and their specs
- Light armor can be used by Mesmers, Elementalists and Necromancers and their specs

While the armor you have right now might not be the best build for the other classes, you can easily overwrite runes and change the stats with the Anthology of Heroes (click for more info), so it’s no big a deal such as making another set of Ascended armor.

Also, everyone has spent gold or a lot of time on their armor, by getting the materials and crafting it, or buying the materials and crafting or just outright buying it. I have seven sets myself and I consider it an investment.

Nah man. By now you were expected to have at least 3-4 full sets of ascended gear for all 9 of your characters. Get gud, mate.

You HONESTLY didn’t notice that the armor classification (Light, Medium, Heavy) of your armor that YOU crafted was limited by the crafting profession you used to make it?

Furthermore, you didn’t realize that classes were limited to a specific armor classification, therefore restricting them on what armor classification of said-crafted Ascended armor you made, especially considering you have managed to level 80 using a specific armor classification?

I don’t know how to react to this… is this someone trolling or are they genuinely upset?

I got 2 classes with fully ascended armor, one which was celestial light made from scratch… not to mention 3 legendaries?

so again… am I lost at this post and wondering if the person reads?

I’ll be honest most of my armor was crafted, I made most of the timegated mats myself, and I know you should be happy you ONLY payed 600 gold.

1st Most armors are way more expensive now
2nd newer stast can be applied effectively giving you a new armor for only a fraction of the costs only problenm is you lose your runes. infusions can be salvaged, if you have the correct mastery.
3rd Unless doing pugged raids, or high level WvW or Fractals ascneded armor is still only a “extra”, the 10% added dmg is nice but not critical in most parts of tyhe game. you can get to lvl 50 fractals without ascneded armor anyways. and if you already have t you can run lvl 50+ trying to get new ascneded boxes whcihc can be modifies to your own needs.

I SPENT 2 YEARS MAKING THIS ASCENDED ARMOUR FOR ONE CLASS AND NOW I WANT A NEW CLASS, WHY DIDNT SOMEONE TELL ME I COULD MAKE MORE THAN ONE CHARACTER? kitten ANET??

I made 2 carrion daggers for my thief when ascended came out, now I only use that thief to craft ascended for other characters. How far we’ve come.
