There are no builds so rigid that agony resist gear will completely gimp you. Technically, the only fight requires AR doesn’t require you to even wear any armor at all.
What crazy kitten build are you using that couldn’t possibly benefit from any of the ascended items.

Picture this, a P/V/T guardian that would have to use P/T/Condition ascended rings because there are no other options. I would rather not have one of my stats drop and raise one (in this one example condition) that’s completely useless to my build.
I dont think having the same assortment of ascended rings as there are exotics is asking too much. If there is an exotic version there should be an ascended version of that same ring.

Yes I did know there are P/T/V rings available. I was just using it as an example imagining the scenario if there were not.
