It summons hands up to hold you down. If you’re held down, the beast is going to cut your head off! Sounds like potential for some pretty good game mechanics. If you’re wondering from where I got the picture, it was from an earlier article advertising gw2.

Unfortunately GW2 bosses don’t really have fighting mechanics, so if a boss such as this were to be implemented it’d just have 10000000000000000000 health while you dodge once in a while.

It’d be awesome if it had mechanics though

I think what’s happening in that concept art is that the ele is downed and using the grasping earth downed ability on that monster.

Uhh no…

• That’s not a Giant, it’s just a regular Ogre Champ @ exaggerated Perspective.
• Most good Artists use illusion & perspective.
• Also the Hands were just the Ele’s downed skills at the time.
