In my opinion, Bjarl The Rampager is ridiculous.
That fight is actually bugged last time I checked. How you’re supposed to kill him is to lure him into those electrical poles so that he gets knocked down, which removes his Scales of Jormag buff. Then you can do normal damage to him instead of single-digit damage. However, he doesn’t always get knocked down by the poles, which is the bugged part of the encounter.

He’s bugged at the moment, you can kill him through conditions damage mostly. Before he was bugged, you were supposed to get rid of his buff by making him charge at an obstacle.

I guess I’ll just keep waiting for a fix……………….or just move on.
I guess CoF 1 is the new Arah 1. The latter one’s been bugged for over a month and still no signs of a fix.

last time we fought Bkarl, he actually bugged out even more and was just running in spot, not moving. most of our team put on auto attack with conditions and went AFK. O___o came back 30 mins later and he was dead. haha sigh. we had a stubborn group! not as stubborn as DIVA’s though! 90mins!

what I don’t understand is why the hell does anet keep putting these patches on that create more bugs of the instances. Revert whatever it is you put into the game that is causing the bugs, not leave it there until you figure out how to unbreak your game. A perfect example of this is the Hatchery quest. Very early after the first week where the bug was noted someone made a fix for the bug, HOWEVER, anet decided to do something with some sound files which made the fix unusable. They added in the new sound files, keeping the bug, instead of removing the bug before putting in new sound files.
Sometimes I just don’t understand why some things happen the way they do but it’s what we have to live with…

When somethings bugged this badly, you should just temp close the path or something so people don’t accidently choose it and find out the hard way (and get angry/sad)
