I have a questions about the Infinite Mist Omnipotion. I know how to create but my questions is about the 3 potions that are needed.

Can I purchase and use each potion before creating Infinite Mist Omnipotion or do the potions have to sit in my bank waiting for me to collect the other pieces to complete the Infinite Mist Omnipotion?

The infinite potions remain in inventory, they are not consumed upon use.

Use ’em freely until you can forge the omni.
