The official statement is confusing because the way that it is written provides for two possibilites. “Non-infused Ascended Rings will no longer drop after scale 24.” I read this to mean Non-Infused Ascended Rings will no longer drop at level 26 and beyond. However, they could mean at level 24 and beyond. Which is it?

I believe my friend got a non-infused ascended ring on 24 the night after the patch.

26 for the infused ring drops and beyond.

I believe Jade Maw is STILL on the 24th scale when you reach it so both non-infused and infused ascended rings will STILL drop.

Actually, it might be on the 25th scale…

Perhaps a recent FotM player can enlighten us on whether or not the scale increases at Jade Maw or AFTER IT!

I’ve seen infused rings and fractal wep skins drop on 20, unless something was recently changed they still should.

Yes but at lvl 26 you are guaranteed to drop in infused ring if a ring drops at all

No more than 15 minutes ago I was awarded an ordinary ascended ring for the completion of Fractal 24. Also, moments before completion, one of my party members found a Coagulated essence.

In conclusion, I believe this system only applies to 26 and beyond.

Got a regular, non-infused ring from the Jade Maw yesterday at level 24.

Nobody got any ring from the Jade Maw daily today at level 26.

I’ll clear this up, if you want sure infused ring when it actually drops do 26 and beyond. If you want a chance at both, do 20-24.
