Guild Wars 2

so i bought an extractor from the fractal NPC, just to try it out, but when the extraction panel appear, one warning scared me of i.e. “The item will be bound to the character after extraction” as shown in the picture attached.

what does this mean ? the ascended ring will be soul-bound to the character ? wtf, ascended ring will be soul-bound ? or the infusions ? i didn’t dare to click “extract” because i feared that i would soul-bind the ring lol.

someone care to explain ? dev?

They will still be accountbound, I guess they copied the upgrade extractor from the gemshop and forgot to change that note.
