I have 10 different dungeon recipes. Those recipes use tokens from 5 dungeons. For a long time, I have wondered what to do with the many thousands of tokens I have from the 3 dungeons for which I do not yet have recipes. Today I did something with them.

I bought 140 Exotic light-armor helms for 180 dungeon tokens each (total of 25,200 tokens spent). Each helm had one of the following stat combinations: Dire, Magi, Rabid, Shaman, Soldier. Each one of these stat combinations has a chance to drop an Intricate Gossamer Insignia. I salvaged each helm with Black Lion salvage kits. I only had 140 BL kit uses (hence the sample size).

What I got from salvaging these helms was:

140 Superior Runes (Soulbound)
257 Silk Scraps
226 Globs of Ectoplasm
158 Globs of Dark Matter (Account Bound)
79 Intricate Gossamer Insignias
25 Gossamer Scraps

Did you notice if a certain dungeon armor gives insignias more frequently than the others? From my experience some dungeon gear simply doesn’t give any insignia. For some time i tried to get the knight’s insignias from the SE armor but couldn’t get any, but from AC i have pretty high success at getting soldier insignias.

I have succeeded in getting insignias from 2 dungeons, one is AC, the other i forgot… I guess its CoE…

Edit: so appearently i didnt succeeded because i salvaged armor with the wrong stats, so i cant get knights insignias from dungeon armor, only those armor stats you listed.

Was going to post, but looks like you got it. All Dungeons except CoF have an option to salvage for inscriptions, of course all of them have rare gear though…

Knight’s is crafted with Armored Scales.

You can’t salvage for crafted inscriptions/insignias.

Soldier
Magi
Rabid
Cavalier
Shaman
Dire

salvage awaaaaaay~

hint: better buy weapons (focus?) to salvage for inscriptions. they may be cheaper, but got hell higher chance than insignias from armors.
