Instance Creator System (Why??)
They know.
But they don’t care. Fixing these things wouldn’t bring in any more money, now would it?
We aren’t even privileged to an acknowledgement that they’re aware of the issue. But they must be, since it gets brought up on this forum pretty much every day.
#GW2CustomerExperience
It could better the whole dungeon experience, potentially attracting more players, and in effect, give them the opportunity to make more money :>…
I’m guessing there could be some hidden technical reason why this hasn’t been fixed. Probably something to do with how the dungeon is linked to a server. It still seems strange that it hasn’t been fixed yet.
If it is changed though you will see more complaints about abusive kicking though. Someone will be able to join a group, invite a friend, and together kick everyone else out. It will happen.
I’m sure they’re aware of it, and I’m sure they’re planning on doing something about it, once they do a laundry list of other things that they think are more important.
You can expect your fix in 3 – 6 months, along with a different horribly flawed system that won’t be addressed for weeks.
what i read was “i want to be able to ignore the lfg description, do what ever i like, and if the lfg creator doesnt like it ill kick him”
you provided no details as to what enraged you so to come here and make a post about it so im assuming you gave none as they would incriminate you
if you truely did run into a troll then i apologize
Apology accepted. What I was concerned about was the fact that I joined a group doing P1 Arah and the instance creator was absolutely horrible at the game. Furthermore, he kept trying to kick players that did about one thing wrong and had an extremely foul mouth. He came off as one of those major kittenbag types that wants to be all alpha and treats everyone else like a kid. We already invested so much time that none of us wanted to kick him and lose all our progress so we shut up and took it. Needless to say this was a very bad experience, and at the end of the dungeon, he instantly left the party so that nobody could get the last chest.
Another thing as I mentioned in the OP is that many times I start the instance because nobody has the dungeon story mode completed, but sometimes we can’t clear a certain part easily (eg: pugging Hodgins burrows without an ele) and being able to switch to another character that I have would make the whole dungeon experience a lot more pleasurable.
Another burden of being the instance creator is that when emergencies come up, it really really sucks having to log off and not be able to let your party get a fifth member. If you log off for too long, the game auto-kicks you from the party as the instance creator and everyone is booted.
These are just a few setbacks of the whole instance creating system that I can think off of the top of my head. Feel free to contribute more.

O.o
Take your meds, bro. He’s just venting about a very frustrating issue that has bitten all of us in the kitten at some point or another.
Don’t forget the real enemy here: Our ever-silent, never-fix-only-nerf, can’t-be-bothered-to-engage-the-community overlords! We must remain strong and united!

It’s flawed programming and they have other priorities like crappy living story and gem store items loosely linked to those living story abominations.
