It’s a simple question but I’ve been unable to find an answer (which makes sense). Basically I want to know what I am supposed to get for a second clear of the same path.

If that isn’t a straight answer then how does the system work?

The reason for this is because I’ve seen several numbers being thrown around and it is frustrating not knowing if you’re being confronted with bugs or poor design.

We know that the ‘full reward’ (first clear of the path in a day) should yield you 60 tokens. But after that I’ve seen people saying it should be 45, half of the full reward (30) and personally I’ve been getting just 20 tokens for a second clear of a path.

These are all numbers I’ve seen for CoF paths 1/2 (3 is OP imo), and I may be affected by DR code, but I am not sure, it’s all too vague to realise what you are doing wrong. The only path I may have cleared within 30 minutes is path 1, the second part is always slower because of the bomb planting Magg does to get to the end boss (just endless deaths and accidentally dying at the same time, fix that terrible fight please :s ).

If anyone has an answer I’d be glad to hear it so I know if I should be doing bug reports for getting 20 tokens.

I like this system, however some final bosses are just really hard for pugs and it’s upsetting to get to the end and not being able to do it and thus you get 0 tokens

However I also think I read that at some point in the future dungeon tokens could drop randomly throughout? If that’s true that would be really good. Hopefully it’s implemented sooner rather than later!

Or even 1 token a chest would make me happy.

Reset time appears to be 00:00 UTC give or take a few minutes.
This is when the Daily Achievements reset and currently equates to 1 AM if you are in the UK.

Thank you for your reply! That clears it up a lot. I am guessing everyone who gets less on a run is probably hitting the DR code.

If this happens to you you can report the offending players, because doing what you describe is against player conduct as described in the ToS. It’s griefing.

Personally I don’t do this but you can use compact party view and screenshot everyone’s names at ones if you want to safeguard yourself.

yeah, that does suck. A lot. We’re working on solutions to that problem beyond just relying on people reporting those griefers.

Which is the exact reason why vote kicking is the worst mechanic.

Just kill it and leave the sorting out of griefers to ourselves through the ignore option.
Simple hand typed notes for each of our contacts would also be nice. So that even after a month we could have a friken clue why we put them there in the first place.

A cool bonus would be if the current/future group finder tool could observe our ignore list.

Vote kicking is really important. Many times someone has to go for legitimate reasons, but doesn’t leave the group because they forget to. Without the ability to remove them from the group, the rest of the group is forced to bail and reform in order to replace him. That’s bad. I firmly believe that vote-kicking is great, but there needs to be a way to ‘lock’ players into a group when certain important events are going on so that they cannot be unfairly removed.

Preventing vote-kicking is pretty difficult. You can set up all sorts of rules, but then it’d get easy for people to abuse those rules that prevent vote kicking to grief a whole party.

How are we supposed to report griefers? I’m curious because there have been some griefing behaviors before, but there’s no “griefing” option in the report menu.

Game enjoyment increases as time spent on the forums decreases.

vote kick should not be completely removed. even though there are circumstances where it is used for griefing, it goes both ways like people going AFK for long periods of time even during the final boss. I am not sure what the answer is.
