Is AC path 1 still bugged?
did this yesterday. Had no problems. The area they seem to be referring to is right before you get the scepter fragments. This may bug out if hodgins has aggro of monsters nearby (he loves fighting those ooze)
Have done AC path 1 three times after Halloween without problems.
Unable to complete path 1 right after patch. Killed the final boss and nothing happened. Hodgins was standing there.
It hasn’t bugged out on my group at all when we ran full run twice yesterday. In the situations when we had that bug in the past, it was usually due to nearby enemy aggro, party members moving too far ahead before grabbing the scepter in the burrow room, or party members being scattered as you advance after the burrow room. Perhaps, if you don’t already do it, try to have party members move together after you hear the confirmation of the burrow scepter being found?
All AC paths’ NPCs randomly bug out at triggered events – when they should say or do something, they simply don’t; instead, they keep following the players.
It’s been happening for about a week now, but only occassionally. Examples from my experience:
- Hodgins before opening the door to the 2nd scepter pieces won’t trigger the dialogue and won’t open the door;
- Detha won’t talk to the Ascalonian ghost in the Ghost Eater chamber, or the ghost will never pop;
- the asura dude won’t trigger the ectoplasm collectors.
There’s a not-always-working fix to it. NPC in dungeons always follow one player at any given time – find who is followed and ask that player to leave the dungeon for a while, then come back.
@drkn (Since the quote function is bugged)
Detha you can fix by killing her (walk her into a mob).
No problems for me, all 3 paths today.

This should be the incentive to stop skipping everything, which I can’t stress enough while playing pug. Mobs in AC are easy, killing them only take a min or two, which is a far better alternative than risking the NPC bugging out.

actually certain dungeon paths are harder unless you skip. Like Arah path 1, in which getting the NPC killed before the final boss makes it not bug out. lol.
