This year we have seen many improvements to the game, not least in terms of loot etc.

While we have seen a some new dungeon-style content, the old dungeons have been continually improved by Robert Hrouda and his manservant. Sadly, while the great, old skins are still available at exotic level, crafting and world boss loot is moving on to ascended level. I wonder if ascended stuff will become available for dungeon tokens at some point and whether this point will be when ascended armour arrives?

I would like to see the introduction of several new dungeons that require agony resist in various parts of their content. This opens the doors for an alternate way to ger ascended armor/weapons, new skins, and most importantly would give validity to having infusion slots outside of fractals.

Continuing on this track at these dungeons we could also buy infusions with dungeon tokens. As it stands now infusions that boost stats are a slap in the face when they only give +5 at the cost of 100 T6 mats and 250 of something else (passion fruit, karka shells). That cost is absurd for the gain. I’m not asking for higher stats per say but just another way to gain these dual function infusions.

Robert Hrouda isn’t even with Anet anymore.

Also, he runs bearbow ranger with MF gear, so he probably knows something we don’t.

There’s pretty much zero chance that we’ll be able to buy ascended gear simply with dungeon tokens. There’s just no way they’d allow anything to circumvent the huge gold-sink and time-gated nature of ascended crafting.

Dungeon items are simply going to be for skins only, which is also fun cause a lot of them still have trash item icons a year after release.

You do get about 20 ascended mats for each path completion.

Also you still need tokens for the gifts which are required for legendary.

My norn’s t3 armour has icons for basic chainmail.

I wouldn’t ignore fractals for karma farm, at daily 38 was about 10500, can’t remember how much i got at daily 48 but was more than that. Ofc condition is to do a fotm on a level that is below your character level.

Players will go into dungeons for empyreal. Problem solved for now.
