I’m not going to talk about whether its doable or appropriate difficulty, but I’d like to know whether it’s intended. Certainly feels odd for this huge army to run past you continually with no explanation and pop into existence right in front of the second boss.

Find the patch notes from when they made that change to SE Path 1.

I’m not sure if it’s intended or not but I’m told the waves of inquest are supposed to stop once you engage the Asura boss rather than once you’ve beaten him, which is currently not the case and you have to pull the boss to the door down behind him to avoid them.

As for the waves continuously spawning and running down the path prior to reaching him yes, that is intended.

I heard it is only recently like that. That they should stop spawning and/or the gap between waves becomes longer. I ventured into SE for the first time last night. Started up P1 with 2 guildies and 2 pugs of which only one kitten pug had done it before…. and wow… just wow anet… the bugs… the horrorrr… 3 and a half hours and probably 1g later w finished. Would have gone smoother with a better group, but still. We will never do it again.

And the 3 dungeon tokens? Not 5, 3???

I’ve tried this path twice after the patch and finished it in the recent attempt. Any decent team can kill boss1 and reach boss2. The only trick we learned from death is if you pull boss 2 near the door behind him(or her?) then inquests waves will stop spawning. Killing him then is like a piece of cake.
