Is there a way of knowing which path one has completed?
Go to the wikipage of the dungeon and check the storyline of the path.
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
As far as game mechanics go, no. I’d probably write it down if it’s hard to recall for later. It would certainly be nice if they had bullet points under the achievement or something, showing you which paths you did, though.
…or made it an achievement
[TTBH] [HATE], Yak’s Bend(NA)
Go to the wikipage of the dungeon and check the storyline of the path.
This is NOT what I am asking.
Yeah…it would be nice….I’m "grinding "for DM title….but I really wish I didn’t have to repeat routes I’ve already done.I’t be nice if achievement stated AC :PATH P3 Tzark completed. That way I know…:)
Perhaps I’ll put this suggestion downstairs

I found that having a good memory works best. Check the wiki, and based on your memory, you’ll know if you’ve done it or not.
My memory seriously sucks, getting old! I cant remember which paths Ive done and havnt done now lol
I’d love to have somewhere in your hero pannel a place where it would be written, especially story modes to know if your char can open explorable mode or not. When you have several alts, remembering on which one you did which story mode is getting difficult.
Why do you care about dm title if u don’t do dungeons anymore

Please re-read post.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one with a rubbish memory. Thats too much to remember IMO.
Like someone had mentioned before check the wiki read the story and see if it sounds familiar to you. If it does then perhaps you have done that path. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dungeon
Other than that if you didn’t keep track of it on paper you may have to just guess at it. When I went for DM I just did them in order and kept it simple.

Ill be the first to actually respond to the question. No, there is no way to tell which path you have done via the achivement tab. If you dont remember, you are out of luck. Good day.
True, no way to know what you did. Type it on paper or your personal gw2 notebook, lol
As the game has the ability to know when you have completed a certain Dungeon path.
That would suggest that Anet choose not to include the specific paths that have been completed. I guess the question is why and why they are NOT willing to add this ?
Stop this madness for god’s sake! This one isn’t even red!
lololol
hey, I didn’t even do it :P
Sasha, this is an old thread. A reaaaally old thread. Excuse our craziness, us dungeon folks get a little odd out here in our corner.
We discussed this about a week ago, but I can’t find the thread atm, and the search feature doesn’t work, so pbbbbbbbbbbbt. I’ll give you the short version:
1) People have been requesting this for years (source: this thread)
2) At one point a dev said “That’s a great idea, I’ll look into it” or something to that effect.
3) Said dev got laid off, dungeon team disbanded, very little attention paid to dungeons since by ArenaNet
4) No reason to believe they’d suddenly start paying attention to instanced PvE problems and add this, so the discussion is pointless.
To answer your question as to why: They think dungeons were a mistake and are no longer devoting any resources to them other than life-support type maintenance.
Right now, your best bet is to go here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/api/Dungeon-path-completion
Leave a message saying you want to see that feature added. It won’t allow you to check this in-game, but it will then be possible to use an external website to view which paths have been done.
If that feature gets added, we’ll finally have an actual answer to give the next person that comes through here asking this question.
