Hi we just finished taking ascalon as charrs and we were not back to our own forms after that. As a result in jade maw we cant pick up crystals. Solution?

well… best advice is to learn the ways of the char.
Seriously though, you can dodge his laser beam after the skull mark above your head disappears. Best way to deal with it is kill tentacles and when his health is low enough for him to do his spread, just run to some hard to hit corner(hard part). If you hide well enough you can kinda dodge it, or have someone jump off as he spreads lasers then res back a platform and hopefully your survivor can res the group(bootleg way).

Try dying.

Or maybe use an elite or a transform. I popped my Tome of Courage in the Ascalon fractal yesterday and it turned me back into a human.

Had this same bug, the issue comes in the last phase. Without the ability to pick up crystals the team wipes and the entire encounter starts again. Tried changing back with tonics and it didn’t help, just said you couldn’t use them in a transformed state. We had a team wipe and it reset as we couldn’t pick up crystals in the last phase and we were still Charr.
