Guild Wars 2

So I did Jade maw for the first time just now and my teammates kept telling me that I was about to die, and then I did. I didn’t see the jade maw beam or anything, I just got downed. I finally zoomed my camera out all the way and then the skull icon started appearing, but it was at the top of the screen almost under the picture for my target. However I could see it right above the head of the other players in the group when they got targeted. I’d assume that it’s supposed to be appearing where the commander icon appears.

I saw a thread about a year old on this issue but no fix. Is this normal or was I just bugged? I’ve got a tall norn female warrior if it makes a difference.

The icon does appear much higher overhead if you’re a Norn or a Charr. Not sure why that is. But yeah, always zoom out to the max when you’re fighting the Jade Maw.

The animation bugs frequently, for what appears to be a variety of reasons. I doubt ANET is going to fix it at this point.

Yeah, norncam is brutal for the maw. More proof that Anet is racist for asura.
