Guild Wars 2

I’ve noticed two places after new update where the jumping has been broken. One is on cliffside right before the arms if your running forwards u can’t jump at the same time, second is on maw after the first platform heading towards the second.

For both of them you have to stop and jump you can’t be running forwards while doing it.

I have the same problem in maw. In 2 jumps (at start, when you take fall dmg; and in the second “change plataform”) me and 2 friends get stuck before the jump, and fall like rocks. Quite weird.

What I want to know is, how the hell did they break the jump in only a couple places?

It is more than a couple of places. All of the jumping puzzles are messed up. They made it so you cant jump on the edges you have to jump way before or risk it not working.

My question is if they plan to revert this? Jumping use to be fun… Now it’s b0rked.

Oddly, I had a hard time trying to make the jump from second platform to the third in the Jade Maw Fractal. At first I thought it might have been a measure put in to prevent people from skipping the trash in that said Fractal, but after killing the trash mobs, jumping was still jacked up.

This makes the uncategorized fractal suchhhhh a pain. Particularly on the 2nd jumping part. Soooo many deaths there. Please for the love of all that is holy fixxx this asap.

yeah, it is not responsive at all, did jade maw twice today, use to run smoothly without problem, now lots of guys drop to their death.

the harpies fractal is the best for this one rofl.

experienced this in places outside fractals too. Most of my guild has been falling quite often.

probably did this to combat those teleporting bots =/

Omg my jumping is already horrible so anyone know a really, really nice Mesmer who can jump on Yak’s bend?

I think my close guild mates Mesmer might be helping me from now on lol.

Yeah I was wondering that too. Did uncategorized earlier and jumping was completely weird cuz the whole team was literally falling off. After the poison room the 1st jump was broken as u just slide off and fall right b4 the ledge.

The Asura fractal had us falling like raindrops from the sky last night, I wish now I could have had some screenshots of my teammates whiffing past me on my climb back up lol.

Also noticed this issue, multiple times I hit jump and the game just didn’t respond. Caused multiple falls on both the Asuran and the Jade Ocean.

I was having this problem well before the update. I would literally face plant and eat dirt, and when a team mate came back to the start to revive me, I’d insta-death right after I stood back up. Hard drive failed so I can’t test my playthrough at the moment with the update, but it sounds like it’s even worse if everyone now has the issue I was having.

its been reverted for now, i suppose until they refine what they were trying to do.
