Just ran my first dungeon, whats next?
Welcome to the game and dungeons! (And haha tittles.)
Each dungeon explorable mode has paths, 1,2 ,3,4, up, forward, aether. These are simply different situations is a single dungeon environment.
I recommend reading the faq and perhaps dungeon mentors if you want any teaching. Good luck, regardless!
And all who stood by and did nothing, who are they to criticize the sacrifices of others?
Our blood has bought their lives.
Each dungeon has a story mode and an explorable mode. So for AC the story is level 30, explorable is level 35. For explorable there are 3 paths you can chose from near the start.
This table should pretty much explain the level requirements – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dungeon#List_of_dungeons

Hope I answered all your questions ingame. PM me if you have any more, or once you get to max lvl and want to learn how to properly do dungeons.
Basically you first do the dungeon in story mode. This explains what is going on and ties into your characters story. A net wants us to be able to redo dungeons so they created explore mode. This takes place after the events of story mode. You can play explore mode repeatedly. And to give you us some variety there are differnt paths to take once inside the dungeon. Explore mode gives you tokens in which you can turn in for armor pieces.
Always up wind from my prey. I want them to smell my farts!
I’ll ignore Twilight Arbor as it’s a special case.
Explorable dungeons – which you can join without story mode completed, but to open the dungeon you need to complete the story mode on that character – have alternate routes and challenges available to choose at the start of the dungeon. Players have taken to labelling these “paths”. Path 1 is the top option, path 2 is the middle, and path 3 is the bottom (Ruined City of Arah has a 4th path).
Each path are all different to the others, with unique areas and encounters, but sometimes overlap with other paths. They do not share rewards, so you can complete all 3 paths of the dungeon in a single day and be rewarded for each of them.

This isn’t like other games. Dungeons are simply a way to farm gold as they offer no other tangible reward. They are not designed to be run at level by players that aren’t completely familiar with all the unintuitive mechanics. Be prepared to die a lot of times until you figure a boss (or its exploit) out, then be bored out of your mind because it has instantly become so trivial.
