Just tried SE path 1
Yeah they fixed that, a decent lvl 80 comp can steamroll through there no problem but i wouldn’t try it beforehand or in a pug. Do path 3 or other dungeons if your in a pug. I personally think its fine the game needs some semi hard content besides high lvl fractals and arah imo. TBH the 3 golem champions are harder than the beginning unless you skip them and even then a decent comp can full clear path 1 in around 15 minutes most of the time.
I tried this path with 3 different pugs, I have no idea how to complete it. I tried teleport/skipping past the gates. I tried rushing him and DPS’ing him. I tried taking out adds. Nothing works. Adds spawn way too fast and outdamage us faster than we can heal.
I really like to get this path done as it’s the last one I need for the Master Dungeon title.
Sounds exactly like the abnormal run through HotW path1 I had earlier today. Continual respawning of adds was crazy hard.

It can be done, if you dont mind repairing up to 5-10 times. You just need a DPS group with at least 2 good heavies. Otherwise its about Attrition. As long as you can get pass the golem all you have to do is rush at the gates and ignore the spawns.
My best run is 2 (ally) deaths
My worst is about 14 (personal) deaths
That said this is not the hardest, just frustrating
I joined an experienced group and cleared this first try without a single repair cost. What you wana do is wait till a wave goes past you by hiding off the side of the bridge – there’s a safe spot, then zerg the first mini boss and go back wait for wave to go past then smash those gates down. Pretty easy path, i don’t get why everyone cries about it.
jump off path to ledge on the right before first barrier.
Wait for 1st wave of inquest to run by then run out and plow the first barrier then back to the ledge.
Wait for next wave of inquest to run by and then send ONE person to trigger the golem event (there will be some talking before you can fight it) then back to the ledge.
Wait for the next wave of inquest to run past then go all in on the Golem. FF it hard.
After the Golem dies run back to the ledge to reset the trash that has accumulated. Wait for all the trash to run past the ledge, wait for the next pack to spawn and run past, then plow the barriers, ignoring the adds until you get to the Asura boss. Run past the boss and down the steps and the inquest will despawn/stop spawning.
Run past the golems after the boss, avoid the blue dots on the ground if you die during that part it is your own fault.
Kite the three golems deep into the big tunnel on the left. Try and get the fire one down since it does the most damage, it usually comes second though and the poison one usually hangs back.
Pull the last boss into the golem room ignoring her little Asura friend who will leash back.
Collect your 60 badges and silver.
Takes like 15 minutes including waiting for adds to run past.
