Kicked out of Fractals by a rage quitter
It is actually also an issue with normal dungeons. And yes, it should git fixed. . .
Instead, another player starts berating the one at fault for not reading the chat and doing something “wrong” and, in the end, just quits.
Does this happen a lot with that person? I can see people cut their losses and leave instead of dealing with people who pay no attention and expect to be carried. There are a lot of people in this game expected to be carried by the entire group and doing nothing in return.

I have not had that experience.

meh, win some, lose some. rage quitting like that is a chump move. Unless there’s no way to recover.

Lol. Everyone makes mistakes. Try to play in a game where everytime you’re having a bad day or you’re making a mistake you get instakicked. Try. You can’t act like this and rage as a stupid kid, unless the team is really being disgustingly bad AND offensive/rude towards you. Someone should just learn to behave decently…

From OP’s post, you can tell he’s frustrated too, and this guy was the only the first to blow. Frankly, it just sounded one kitten run and someone jumped out the window.

Can’t say if it happens often with that person as it was a PUG run but, the reason the person quit was because someone killed all the chanters at the arm seals – in the fractal with the trapped giant – instead of keeping one alive to manage spawns.
This was only a level 18 run. I feel it could have been salvaged even if we had to get another to finish but, because of how the instancing is done, me and 3 other players lost the progress we had made. This isn’t about another player quitting, this is about getting kicked out 75% trough a run.
Only time I had this happen was in Arah when an elitist couldn’t run thru the mobs on path 3 so he decided to get his revenge on the rest of the group.

I kept my description of the incident vague on purpose because I intended to use the situation to highlight a – in my opinion – bigger problem: the fact that one player dropping can ruin the whole run for everyone.
It could have been someone who needed to leave for a real life emergency during the most perfect run I had ever done and I would still be frustrated that we couldn’t pick someone up to finish because the instance owner left.
But that’s just me: I hate to quit. I see trough even my worst runs. So, getting robbed of the option is what’s bothering me. I just wanted to highlight this in the forums to see if it was a problem for others too and, hopefully, have someone from Anet see it.
It’s a problem Anet needs to fix somehow.
Simply make kick require votes equal to number of party members minus one, and that if team maker quits others won’t leave fractals.
