Today, I had gotten kicked out of my own team during a fractal. ( My own team as in I recruited the people via gw2lfg and started the dungeon )

Why did I get kicked out?

Their reason was because I had no AR ( Agony Resist ) for a daily fractal 10.

I also got reported because when I got booted, the instance closed. They angry and said I wasted their time. And that they would see to it that “Anet compensates them”

Just goes to show, only run dungeons with guildies/ real life friends.

That is pretty rediculous. I know for a fact that I’ve run at least 18 level 10 fractals without AR as a Ranger without anyone even asking for a gearcheck. Fractal don’t even require you to have AC at earlier levels because most of the tim you can avoid it.

I want to say “elitists” but I also want to say people who have nothing better to do or having a bad day and decided to take it out on someone.

That’s hilarious, considering that almost everyones first run on 10 involves no AR and usually a few more after that. Plus the fact that they were stupid enough to kick the group leader.. that’s pretty comical as well.

I ran up to personal level 26 without any AR, and only got AR because at that point I had enough relics to make a back piece. Honestly, your party was out of line, and I find it pretty amusing and satisfied that they got kicked by removing the group leader.

I reserve my opinion on the fact that the other half of the story is missing. Not to say you’re at fault, but I’ve seen people’s attitudes get them kicked and think they did absolutely nothing wrong.

Comedy of errors by nubs to be frank. Ive done frac 10 many timed with no AR without issues. To then kick the party leader who started the fractal and complain, is funny. But the kicker for me is them then saying they would “see to it that anet compensates them”, which is pure gold dunce material.

Dont worry about the reports. Anet wont ban you for playing the game legit.

False Reporting is an offense. You should counter-report if they did such.

fotm 10 doesn’t require any AR anyway.

Seems some people are pretty uninformed about AR. I’ve seen people on gw2lfg requiring 25+ AR for scale 20. Many people, including myself on an alt, have gone past 20 with 0 AR. I’m not sure where people get the idea they need so much AR at the early levels.

Tends to be the bad players who cant use dodge or escape skills to get away from agony activations. Personally im only runnin 5ar atm for 10-20 fractals, just because I could (got an ascended amu) and wanted the slot filled for later levels.

There are a lot of bad players with the entirely wrong mindset and hangovers from other titles projecting it on this one.

Same here. I did all the way up to 19 with 0 AR then to 23 with only 5. I think they just want to be carried.

What prompted them to check your AR? Not that I am agreeable to their behavior but if AR checks are done, it usually occurs at the start of FotM.

If it makes you feel any better, I ran a 49 today with 0 AR. While it sucks for you (I’ve had similar happen, I know), at least it was a bit of justice that they got kicked out too. What fools d-.-b

I blame some online guides for suggesting at least 10AR for level 10-19, I used to run lvl 10-12 without AR while saving up relics for infused capacitor. Well, it’s karma for them :p

It’s sad to see there are people like that. They will likely never make posts on the forum because they know what they’re doing is kitteny. I think they got what they deserved when they got kicked after kicking you though. I can’t believe they would have the audacity to report you though when they were the ones doing the kicking.

I wonder what he wrote. “So we kicked this guy from the group and then we all got kicked out of the instance. He clearly griefed us and made us lose all our progress.”
