Kicked? seriously?
Sadly you can’t do anything about that and ANET doesn’t read the dungeon forum (or maybe once in a while). The best you can do is form your own group and start the instance, or join a guild and play with them.
Man there are over 9000 topics related to kicking. I’ve never been kicked in a year of pugging, but reading all these posts makes me think about the matter.
Just endure it, find a PvE guild or build your friendlist and this’ll never happen again
Edit : beaten by Jerem, meh ;_;

Sorry about that
i do daily dungeon runs with my new small guild that knows what they’re doing. sadly they haven’t been doing much fractals so i’m waiting for them to get to higher levels. i do have good people on my friends list that i do fracs with but they were mostly offline at the time. ;/
So you disconnected after going down after wiping several times.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt it looks like you rage quit. I would have replaced you, too.
why would it look like i rage quit when we were doing great and almost killing the boss? doesn’t make sense. and i don’t rage quit on the last boss fractal.

Nike is right. If you were doing great but still went down and died, then suddenly left it would look like a rage quit to me. It is sad, but it happens all the time.
I usually have pretty good luck with PUGs. Sometimes though you just have to accept that people are kittens. Just last night I was PUGing COE. We got to the 2nd alpha fight in P2 where you stack by that pillar. On the first or second AOE strike the same three people kept going down because they weren’t dodging properly. On our fifth attempt, one guy had the nerve to blame me, telling me I wasn’t stacking tight enough for his liking. So, I bit my tongue and stood exactly where he wanted me to and repeated the process. Lo and behold, same thing happened they all downed eventually leaving me trapped in a crystal and dead as well for the sixth time. Three people rage quit, we grabbed some new guys, beat alpha in like 30 seconds, blew through the rest of the path, did a P3 in the blink of an eye and all went on our merry way.

even if you thought i did rage quit…. at least wait 5 minutes before kicking. i was literally offline for less than 2 minutes. ;/ but yea i know all about these pug issues and it’s really sad. you never know when a good run would turn into kitten and you just end up wasting so much of your time over nothing.

I usually do wait about 5 minutes if someone suddenly goes offline before kicking. I know disconnects happen.
But, as Nike said, if you had already wiped a few times, people get frustrated and after PUGing dungeons for so long, I can see the other side of it as well. Sometimes you just have to stop and try and see it from the other side of the table.

problem is, even if you make group it doesn’t stop ppl from kicking you
i did cof p2 once, for w/e reason the group decided to accuse me in constant dying to mobs ( i died one time in entire run) and kicked me on last boss, despite me opening the dungeon heh
[Teef] guild :>
Heh, if i was the dungeon starter and they had kicked me.. i’d be fine with it. at least they’d get kicked out too and i got payback without doing anything.
would you happen to be a charr guardian with t3 dyed orange and black

I am not saying this is the case here, but I have a feeling that when people say stuff like “I only died once the entire run”, that might be a slight exaggeration. Maybe you were downed a bunch of times or whatever. People QQ on this forum all the time about being kicked and not one time that I can remember did that person accept any possible fault.
I feel your pain, I always get kicked no matter how well I support my party . Full cleric armor and a shout build that heals for around 4k and insane CC with dual mace build. And I never go down , always forced to res those berserker who die in one hit and I’m the one who gets kicked. It’s absurd.

whoa that’s stupid. i’d actually love to have someone with your build in my party. it helps a lot.

nah, all my characters are human and i don’t want to level a guardian.

No wonder you get kicked with that build… or is this just troll bait?
troll bait

If you died, you died because of your own inadequacy and not due to someone else’s actions.
people are just impatient pricks: cant even wait 2 minutes before they go “oh lets just kick this guy hue hue” lost count of how many times i got kicked cause my dogs needed to go out.
sorry for putting my RL priorities first, cant be elitist like you guys who want to finish a dungeon in like 30 minutes

You may never match my talent young Padawan, however I will watch you closely.

Yesterday i pugged arah and there was a thief who kicked 2 players because they left his shadow refugee aggroing mobs. Even when he misplayed the entire run using signet of shadows, SR and shadowstep in every boss fight, he thought he was correct to kick these players for making one mistake.
Usually people flame and kick for the most stupid reasons you can imagine (healing shouts warriors saying someone else lack dps and stuff like that) and you can’t really do anything if you keep playing with randoms so the best solution is find friends, add them and play with them instead of pugs.
He’s kind of evolving as a troll. No need to be good at it, though, if the people you troll are incredibly dense – and they are.
Sometimes I hope the playhowiwants are all trolls and I didn’t notice…
… then I wake up.

Yep, can’t tell how many times I’ve seen someone dc and immediatly get kicked. Or people that said “brb restarting pc” and get kicked 1 minute later because someone didn’t read. Even had a guy trying to kick someone because he was appearing offline, even when he was right in front of us.
So many tards around.
Outch!!! tough luck
