Guild Wars 2

I’ve gotten kicked from groups for fractals twice now, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t very upset right now. Kicking people in dungeons has to be fixed, I understand kicking people who are offline for too long, trolls, etc. Sometimes, however, people will kick you just so friends/guildies can come in right before the chest. There has to be some sort of rule so you can’t kick people right before boss fight/chest appears, unless the person is offline. I don’t think that would be too hard to program, it wouldn’t fix everything, but it would help a lot. What do you think of this idea?

I seriously don’t understand all those experiences. I can even be as kitteny as i can but don’t get kicked…

Last night was the first night I was ever in a fractal that had a kick. One player was personal lvl 4 and was trying to be in a lvl 48. We thought he was trolling and just being “funny” but became apparent he had never done the dredge fractal. He even said it a few times but we just couldn’t believe it until we saw his actions there.

Someone voted for kick and someone instantly second’d it (non guildies). I felt bad but even I knew we would be wasting his time as much as he would be ours. Had a guildy jump in. We wanted him in there from the start but he was afk until about 10 minutes after we started. He wanted to come once he got back but we would never remove someone just to get a guildy in.

Guess my roundabout point is there is usually a reason for a kick more than just to get a buddy in. Especially if it keeps happening.

I wasn’t inexperienced though, it was some other guy who was having trouble doing the fractal, he also kicked someone right before he kicked me. Unfortunately, I can’t remember any of their names, except for the person they kicked.
And, if you end up inviting a guildie after it doesn’t really matter, because the person you were running it with wasn’t supposed to be doing that lvl

Hah, you were doing too good. The other guy was obviously getting frustrated by his failures and was whisper/other chat with another and blaming you and the other who got kicked.

Sadly many forget that ANet has included a chat window that all party members can see. If its too quiet then that is usually another red flag and I duck out before things get going too far along.

Yeah, too bad it got rid of the party chat so I couldn’t report them. I’m just upset that I wasted 2 hours doing a fractal run I didn’t complete, I also can’t run them that often, don’t have enough time
