Guild Wars 2

So assuming I am suggested opening a new fractal upon trying to join my pug group that’s already in – fifty times in a row… Are there any tricks to make it work? It seems as soon as you join a group that’s jumped into the fractal and thus left diessas lab, there’s no way to join them. Which is a kittening joke for an MMO in 2015, that’s what… 3 years on live?

I tried:
waypointing in LA -> nope
closing the popup and running into the fractal gate -> nope
joining diessas lab with wrong fractal settings and trying to join my group from there -> nope
relogging -> nope

Are there any ways to make it work? This is kittening me off so much, and I can’t believe I’m so close to quitting again over this aids group system in GW2…

Joining with my guild – meeting in diessas – and then joining the actual fractal together works fine like 99% of the time. And with no one in diessas it fails 99%.

At least that’s what I think is happening.

Sounds like you’re running into an old problem.

Use /leave to drop the party. Then go to character select, and come back on whichever character you want. Have them re-invite you. Join the fractal by selecting enter explorable mode.

That’s strange, whenever I get the wrong popup I just have to hit enter and will be sent to the appropiate level (as long as i did not run into the fractal gate).

Can you give some more information?
- Were all 50 tries with the same error (as in where you always sent into your own fractal instance)? Or were some with the “the world is full” bug?
- Is the fractal level higher or lower than your own personal reward level?
- What happens when you keep the first (normal) popup and they go from lab to the first fractal and you hit enter after that?
