Sempiternal Order [SO]
Northern Shiverpeaks
I’m sure there are probably millions of threads out there complaining about the very same subject, but I’m going to post this anyway.
So I ran into quite the problem earlier today. I logged on and decided to do some Fractals. I rolled for a good 5 – 10 minutes till’ I got swamp. I made a post and waited for a few minutes for people to come join, about ~10 minutes. One person joins, then leave because he’s an impatient kitten and then someone else joins. Then here comes the problem, two people join. A Lv. 80 and a Lv. 1, join the party through LFG. They kick my party member, then kick me effectively terminating the instance. I wasn’t bothered by this, I was like okay just a few trolls. So I roll swamp again for about ~5 minutes. I get it, then make a LFG. And lo and behold, the two join on me again and kick me, terminating the instance. So, I had a guildie join me to help protect against these no lifes and it took another good ~20 minutes to roll swamp and get a full party. This is absolutely ridiculous how long it took to finally get a party and finish the Fractal due to two trolls. Kitten.

I would like to see something done about this. I propose to either have the party leader immune to kicks or for the party leader to have control of who joins their party. Or maybe, require a kick to need more than just two votes! I think it’s absolutely stupid that anyone can just join your party through the LFG without having to be accepted. I also think its absurd that people can just kick party members, let alone the party leader, with only two people. Hope this could get some consideration, thanks.
I made 2 threads on the case and I even wrote a support ticket about it. My threads got ignored and in responce for the ticket I got:
“I am sorry to learn of the issue you and your party encountered during your recent dungeon run. I certainly understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you have spent quite a bit of time in the dungeon.
Our development team frequently reviews issues related to the game, including potential issues with dungeons. In the past, they have made a few changes to dungeon mechanics and they will continue to make adjustments as necessary to resolve issues."

No! This is not a kittening support group for abused pugs.
Why such things never happen to me?And i have almost 4k hours of play time.
I want to see a Screen shot or it never happened.
Also if you are being booted there are 2 solutions:
Never actually had anything like this happen. Of course, I either only play with Guildmates or friend and I avoid groups with players who know each other.
Have been kicked at the end of a fractal though but it was because I strongly disagreed with some of the political views of two particularly vocal individuals.
In the past week, 2 buddies were selling a path, 2 people popped in and instantly kicked one of my friends who had entered the dungeon, so it closed it. All that time getting to the last boss, wasted because of 2 griefing jerks.
Then just the other day, they were doing a fractal, finished the final boss, before the rewards came out the one PUG hit the “return to lab” button, prompting the window to accept. Now that window is pretty similar to the one that pops up after the reward is given that is the “you’re done are you ready to go back”. So they all jumped on the one, only to discover they’d abandoned the fractal after the final boss and before hte loot…. Now personally I’m laughing at them for making the mistake, but ugh, how is that even possible? lol.

There’s no such thing as a party leader or party ownership, only instance ownership. Now if instance owners weren’t booted upon loosing party…I guess there’s a reason for the current way though.

Also if you are being booted there are 2 solutions:
- either make your own group or just you open the dungeon.
Then consider yourself lucky if it was accusing a particular person sure include screens but the fact remains this is possible when it shouldn’t be. There’s no need for screens on this and your post is a complete waste of time…
it seems like Anet doesnt give a kitten.
If they dont fix this with the feature patch its official that they dont care and want player to suffer.
I catched 2 guys on video, sent it to support and all i got was the usual BS " were looking at it, thanks for your response but use the “right-click on name method” next time -.-

What, so if there are not screens you just decide it never happens? The users would just lose some of their time posting this for no reason? How funny.
Im surprised this happens often – more than it should at least – but i honestly (and almost posted to ask that once) always wondered if something like this was possible. It is silly. I’m glad that if the Dungeon opener leaves the group the Dungeon finishes that very moment or probably we would have a few guys abusing this to kick the leader in the end and maybe sell his spot to someone or just invite a friend over.
Yea it’s just come to a time where you need to group and fill with pugs, I’ve been in more then one kick fight with people just trying to hijack swamp rolled fracs ect. It’s got to a point where I don’t advert swamp roll in my frac groups anymore.
