“You have joined too many parties recently. Please wait a moment before trying to join again.”

First off, a “moment” is longer than 45 minutes, it seems.

Second, how is this still a thing? I am unable to participate in any group content in the game because of this. A massive multiplayer game, and I am excluded all because I was trying to find a raid group, thus advertising LFR. My advertisement would disappear, so I would re-add it 5-10 minutes later.

Now, I am basically blocked from the LFG tool. I can’t go do HoT meta events, Fractals, Raids, etc.

Been blocked out for over 45 minutes now, even tried re-logging.

Sometimes changing characters helps. But if you are already at 45 mins it probably won’t.
Changing characters while having you LFG post up actually makes it stay up longer. I know that is a silly solution tho. Also putting up the same exact message in the LFG over and over triggers the suppression faster. If you change it up a bit that helps.

But yes these solutions are silly and this should work better than it currently does.

Had this happen to me literally after just logging in and not having joined any groups at all.
Idk why it happens, probably just another bug to add to the list

I tried joining a Fractal group with 1 open slot and it failed. I hit refresh and was locked out for “joining too many parties” for more than 10 minutes.

I whispered a player in the 4-person Fractal group, asking if they would invite me. They replied that their group shouldn’t still be listed as they’d actually been full for quite some time. Another new bug?

Later, I tried finding an AB Meta map. Joined one group, but their map was full. Tried joining a second group, but was again locked out for excessive party joins.

Apparently the new limit on party joins is 1 every ~15 minutes.
