First off, that Dungeon Finder in wow sucked. That’s not what we need.
The craptastic experience of Looking For Dungeon Groups with LFG:
1. Nobody uses it, so what hilariously little it can do is completely meaningless. It’s used so little that it’s safe to say 99/100 people don’t even know it’s there. That fact alone makes it a bad system.
2. When you do use it, if someone else does, you can’t tell what other people are grouping for, what their strategy is, or what kind of experience they have. There’s no comment field, nothing. It’s useless when used.
3. The game ‘world’ is already heavily divided amongst so many zones and overflows… LFG doesn’t even communicate across any of it. This is some kind of a joke…
4. Using the chat system to help find groups gets you spam blocked after just a few attempts.
My guild (probably a typical one) isn’t all online at the same time. We’re all different levels. Plus people got their own stuff to do. So getting guild members to help hasn’t been the golden goose it was advertised to be. Town’s not much better.
Also, waiting for Story Mode dungeons 10-20mins not that bad so soon after release with so many casual players still playing. Waiting 2 hours for Explorer Mode dungeons, and not even getting a proper group sucked. It sucked worse than WoW’s crappy soul sucking system, cause waiting around doing nothing is an absolute failure.
I seriously doubt end game content will be very fun. Sure the guild might do things every now and again, but I think it’s going to be a lonely time. People who want to run these dungeons should be able to find each other and there shouldn’t be this many barriers between them.
