LFG kick system is insulting
I hate when this happens. Ppl like those must be banned. Also its very stupid to loose all the “/p” chat when you go out of the party… that way you cant even report these ppl. Also (2) add more options to the report system so we can add a note to the report about why are we reporting. The whole system now is very broken and stupid and it makes me rage sometimes.
Simple tip, if you’re going to pug a dungeon without guildies always host your own run. If they kick you then poof their run is gone.

If everybody hosted their own run, there would be no runs.
At op, I’d suggest adding everyone you party with to your friends list, this will allow you to block them in the future/report. (I think you still have to send them a whisper to get their name on your chat list again)
You also get to know decent runners this way. Can also remove the names at the end of the run, a liitle bit of extra hassle…but totally worth it, to block people

Expanding a suggestion into an invalid generalisation. A large proportion of people won’t list on LFG since they will run with guildmates or friends.
Running a dungeon with a pug is akin to the lottery, will you get kittenbags? will you get noobs? will you get fun people? will you get abusive sorts? It’s a risk all random puggers take
Yeh, I get pug groups are pug groups. My complaint isn’t that they were soo bad the run took about 45 mins longer than it’s usal 20mins. Or that they kicked me for helping them.
My issue is, there’s not a system in place to be ‘not worth my time, I’ll never see them talk or run a group with them again’.
Even if I was to ‘add everyone to friends list’ so I can see them if they kick me.
I’m not even sure, LFG will even pay attention to your ignore list. (Or not show/group you with people in it)
Stupid condi system/every dungeon seems to have a ‘this bit requires VOIP coordination or will be a wipe fest/frustrating/unfun’ without VOIP in game.
Then this ‘the aholes have all the power/get the rewards’ without even a way to ignore/stop them 1 by 1 as you find them…
Well it makes me feel I’m the stupid one for trying…
Working as intended. It’s part of the GW2 experience to be able to lose your progress at any given moment.
If they are still in the LFG, you can acquire their names by scrolling over the LFG. I did this once when a team kicked me for bringing an engineer (even though I myself was the host).

That’s my LFG. Don’t steal it :<
This just happened to me as well. In desparate need of a fix, I don’t even know why the kick feature is there.

Have you ever done FoW, UW or Deep with pugs?

To kick abusive people, or those who do not meet your LFGs criteria, such as “LF Berserker only” and a Bearbow joins or “All welcome, no skipping” and someone skips. I’ve been reported many times for kicking people at last boss 50% health because they abuse me thinking it’s too late for them to be kicked.
