Hey so I’ve been pugging a lot of level 50/49 daily fractals lately I play a warrior full ascended zerker/assassin gear with 82ar. I post on lfg for experienced zerkers and get really bad groups most of the times pugs die far too much to random easy stuff which they shouldn’t among many many other things so I’m looking for a group or want to form a group for daily fractal runs. Best set up imo would be-

2 warriors
1 thief or ele
1 Mesmer
1 guardian can have knights gear

Everyone running with zerker gear and meta builds knowing how to play there class well and the mechanics of fractals for a fast no fuss run. I have a teamspeak server and play on EU. I don’t know if I posted this in the right place please move it mods if I didn’t :L I have 6 classes mesmer/thief/guardian/warrior/elementlist/necro and know how to play them fairly well and don’t mind explaining stuff to people if needed pm me in game or on here if you have a group for me or want to join in

I’m in the same boat as you and also am on EU (Desolation). Most of the time I always get a full team in PVT and I honestly don’t think I can put up with it anymore. I’m so sick and tired of doing cliffside with people, picking up the hammer, and wiping because there’s literally NO DPS AT ALL without me. It’s almost to the point where I refuse to pick up the thing for the chest seal because of how used to this I am.

Also, why the heck do people range the molten duo? Seriously, WHY? There’s a mesmer and a guardian on the team yet we’re not utilising reflects and taking the berserker down? Why even bother playing on a mesmer if you’re not going to use reflects?! What’s the point?

Yeah, pugging FotM is pretty annoying. Perhaps we can do runs together, but I’m only 55 AR atm with GS equipped so no 50’s yet for me just 49’s :P

Not sure if I want to transmute my ascended armor pieces yet until the combat changes roll out. Quite certain that berserker gear will always remain dominant unless they change the combat mechanics from the core, but I have no certainty about scholar runes post-patch.

I used to pug 48s on NA before the Fractured update and it was the same, haha. Bads everywhere. I’d totally start playing again and join you if I was on a EU server.

That feeling… when you realize that in a group of 5 players you are the only one actually doing any damage.

100% aggro on you 24/7 even if you are afk and didn’t attack a thing yet - #Exaggerating for fun but close to reality, off

Not a big issue in my opinion. Pretty much every pug does this.

Gear-check will still fail.

I’ve seen some zerkers leeroy jenkin’d the seals at cliffside, or facetanked Arch Diviner, or even worse, range-bursted him when his reflection was on and wiped the whole melee party.

Anyways i run fotm 49 daily in the morning depending on who’s on so you can join us if you want but god please don’t run knights gear, just..no…that’s so 2013. I keep aggro 24/7 as a warr, even kite that kitten ettin lol so no reason for knights gear.

Still better than getting magi gear people doing the same. You can always ask them to ping weapons too. It’s not 100% guarantee but you can’t quiz them on tactics..or can you?

My friend has an even better idea. We would roll Urban Battleground instead of Swamp. Whoever kittens, we’d just kick.

I also have seen quite a few who pinged a proper DPS gear set then ended up swapping to something else that dealt no damage at all. It puzzles me.

Those are called leechers. They ping DPS gear, whether they actually have it or not, in hopes that everyone else will carry them.

Hahaha well archdiviner on cliffside kittening hates me so this is true… if I happen to screw up and go downed there, I’m NOT getting up. He’ll stand there and smack me until I’m fully dead.

Lmao “I keep aggro 24-7” story of my freakin life. I also really have to kite the stupid ettin because I can’t see anything with all the bloom particle explosions covering up the character model…

You are right though there is no place for knight’s gear here. ESPECIALLY for fotm. You aren’t taking a ton of small damage attacks, you’re taking slow heavy damage. It’s such a waste to remove all of the crit dmg % increase.
