Hi guys!
This new release has placed all of us in the dungeon community into states of high and violent emotion. Let us sit back for a second and reflect on some singular acts of accomplishment in the past year.

Really weak example:
At a Jade Maw level 48, I was targeted by Maw, and I used burning retreat to get to the closest crystal behind me. And someone noticed!

Tell me your awesomeness!

I got corrupted by the toxic tower (or this new update, can’t tell for sure).

I haven’t even been in there…. I’m such a bad player.

Doing fiery rush on boss and pugs start wondering how boss died so quickly.

I did absolutely nothing of worth.

I like literature. Tell me I’m awesome.

Jade Maw:

I used Shadowstep to steal someone’s crystal as they were walking to it. And they didn’t noticed it. :cringes:

I know is not much, since people can solo even Lupicus, but I think my greatest accomplishment is soloing the Howling King from about 75% health after the other party members died, popping stunbreaks every time a graveling knocked me down.

I left the instance at final boss cuz I already did the path . No QQ, I play how I want.

I got footage of me using a shout and it not working! I did a fotm 79 for lols with a pr of 52 thats really the only worth thing I have done.

umm … I have wall of reflection slotted?

I’ve beared Anet and the direction they gave to this game for a year or so.
(couple of breaks here and there for school/pc issues/whatever)

Not counting to break the record further, tho.

my shining moments all on my guardian
-2 times agains first TA boss (champion nightmare wurm): solo’d from 25% hp and solo’d from 80% ho to 10% hp (before new people showed up to replace the 3 ragequiters)
and once during aetherblade retreat againt final boss
entire team wiped by cannons cept for me: rezed some1 while kiting boss: essentually revived entire team: went on to win

using skills on reaction rather on prediction.

The thing i love most of my playstile…unfortunately can be done in few situations and its not as rewarding as having a “popular build” spamming the same rotations :|

Its a pity anet balanced the game on PvP…
Means we have long casting time on some skills (possibly in order to be interrupted), but the reaction window to boss Attacks balanced on the dodges…..

If they changed some cast Windows the game would be deeper.

Honor of the waves Path 1:

Got to the end of the hallway where the little AoE’s knock you back. Saw one of my teammates in down state at the start of the hallway. I had this urge to save his kitten , so I jumped to the closest AoE, and got flung way back to the start and rezzed him. We both came out alive, felt like a hero

Using Spectral Walk to quickly collect crystals at the Jade Maw, and then teleport away from the tentacle’s slam attack.

And there was this one time where I was kiting a whole mob enemies in CoF path 3 in a circle, and they kept mindlessly following me. My party was in the middle, as the enemies kept running around them in circles, and were completely baffled. They could pick them off at leisure.

completing cof p1 ( Prior patch)

I hope you lol out of a positive way:) but cof p1 aws as arah p4 one of the paths that were considered unbeatable. It was one of the hardest bosses I did fight ( and I did fight quite a few). We wiped some times yes I WIPED i would give so much for that Feeling again and we pulled ourselves together I told them this is one of the last ( besides arah p4 ) path I Need they should Focus so we pulled ourselves together for a last attempt.l

In an epic battle equiptment with my selfcrafted condition gear and some super pirate runes. we needed to battle him about 15 minutes full focused to finally beat him. It was a great Feeling even gw2 was out only few days. we were able to beat that Boss.
One of the bosses most ppl in this game only have killed after Anet nerfed him down hard:)

I love this place, it makes my heart warm.

Also that is pretty awesome. I’m sure that was fixed loooong before I ever went into cof. I was sub 80 for about 3 months after release. Total casual back then.

I wanted to say I never feel like I’ve done something good – or remarkable – because I can only think it was my job, and everything I do isn’t even remotely special, just my duty and something I owed to my teammates… but I can’t do it without sounding whiny.
I’m the embodiment of mediocrity and I know it. Nobody is going to clap at you for an aegis, but you can be sure as hell they’ll bash on you for that fail WoR you put down.

….I still fail at that more often than I succeed. Granted, I don’t usually try, my typical Coe group just does it, and I’m all like “lalalalala….. I’ll just take this console….”

For some reason pugs are always surprised when I use Flesh Wurm to teleport past the lasers.
