One of the things that slightly bugs me in fashion wars is that I have all these lovely styles to choose from for terrestrial headgear but that there are only 4 choices for underwater styles which don’t match my carefully designed oufits. Since envoy armor will be a special case, I am making a request here along with some suggestions for how it would be implemented, rewarded, and appear on character.
1. How does it look
Arguably the most important, I would just be happy with any sort of underwater style that looks like it fits with the legendary armor I am going to so much effort to make.
1.a) Just use exactly the same model for envoy mask/cowl/helmet but allow it to be applied to an aquabreather.
1.b) Use the same envoy mask/cowl/helmet style, but add in an aquabreather over the mouth so it makes a bit more sense to be used underwater
1.c) Make something completely new (I am not expecting this).
2. How is it rewarded
This is what you have to do to get the style, see point 3 for my suggestions on what exactly the item unlocking the style should be.
2.a) When promoting a perfected mask/cowl/helmet at the mystic forge to legendary, zommoros also gives you the item with the style.
2.b) Create a new collection for each armor weight, and once you have unlocked all 6 pieces of a given weight the collection reward gives you the style. eg: “Envoy Armor III: Heavy Armor” rewards you with the heavy aqaubreather.
3. What is rewarded
The armor weight of the style awarded will depend on which weight was used in step 2.
3.a) A style piece, of the “double click to apply to any other <weight> aquabreather” type.
3.b) A recipe to craft the perfected envoy aquabreather (ascended rarity), for promotion at the mystic forge.
3.c) A perfected envoy aquabreather (ascended rarity), for promotion at the mystic forge, along with recipes to craft duplicates.
3.d) A legendary envoy aquabreather, with recipes for the perfected envoy aquabreather to craft duplicates.
These are roughly in order of effort required by the player to unlock, or effort required by the devs to implement. What do people think?
