Hi. I will ask this here beacuse I think you are the players with more legendaries on their baggs.

Once I figure which class I will main, I will go for a legendary. So, any tips on that? What I should start with? Map completion? Precursor? Should I just buy directly?

If you don’t mind doing map completion and you are on a decent WvW server that can actually cap stuff the definitely get map completion and save up to buy the precursor first. After you’ve got your pre rest of the crafting seems easy because it is divided into smaller pieces eventhough the materials often cost much more than the pre itself.

Everytime I start crafting a legendary I use a tracker such as: http://gw2legends.net to keep track of my progress.

start wvw map completion asap. Else you might get everything done and stuck on it for months.

things you should try to get is around 1 million karma(or equivalent in obsidian shard), and around 350 skill points. Doing fractal/teq/EOTM is a good way for karma. And doing map completion/dungeon is a good way for skill point.

Ok. As I already have like 2000K Karma and over 350 skills points. I’ll go saving and doing map completion (I think I have like 65% on my mesmer).

One more question.
I just discovered that I have 135 Mystic Forge Stones. Should I try luck on the mystic toilet? Or is it better to save up to buy the precursor?

Check crafting cost and highest buy order for the past week or two. If its cheaper to place a realistic buy order then its a no-brainer. If its more expensive to place a realistic buy order, consider how long or how much you loathe doing map completion or other non gold components and decide if the gold difference is worth it or not.

After that you can decide if you should buy or craft.

The Mystic forge is a waste, don’t trust it.

I’d start with WvW completion, just check in from time to time and grab anything that you need and is open, you don’t know when the next time you’ll get the opportunity will be.

Opposing color keeps and even the close towers are not flipped all that often and when they are it’s not held for long usually, so get them when you can. At least check your color each week and pop in if it changes to get the easy ones. I want to say it was 3-4 months that my server never saw green and a buddy had to wait that out to get his last vista because he didn’t WvW much so wasn’t there when it did get flipped the few times it did.

I just want to add that doing map completion during WvW seasons is probably easier than during off seasons. Just don’t get too stressed about it.

this way you are up to date on which maps to go to when your wvw players capture a point you need. this is if you are not a fan of pvp that is.

It gives you the time it was last flipped which can be useful to know if it was just flipped and you have 4 mins to get there before it can be flipped back or whatever.
