Let's Talk Dungeons
The TA Aetherblade path is both newer and longer than most other dungeon paths. I don’t have a problem with more dungeons being added, but I question what percentage of the population actually enjoys/does dungeons.
I wish Anet would publish stats on that.

It is too long. It aims not at the general dungeon doing players, but only at the top 1% of them. Most people stick to the easier paths and dungeons – and that is the content that we need more of.
The same is, btw, happening to Fractals – the new fractals are harder than the average original ones. The two new end fractals are not only harder and more annoying than maw, but also RNG seems to be skewed seriously towards getting them (since the Fractured update i have gotten Maw only once. Some of my friends already start to joke it does not exist anymore).

My impression is rather that the top 1 % dungeoneers despise that path due to a failed effort/reward ratio and way too much unskippable nonsense.

The TA Aetherblade path would be so much nicer if it wasn’t for the Ooze puzzle near the beginning. That part takes long than any other part in the dungeon.
