Pretty sure this is one of his mechanics, did 5 sparks spawn nearby when he went invuln?
Yes, but as stated in the wiki, there are two ways this can go. Either Dwayna stealths on a 45 second timer (which is how it’s supposed to happen), or “The seer path may also bug at the fight with Simi, the priestess of Dwayna. When this happens, she will hide every time her health reaches 50%, regardless of time spent gathering the sparks or fighting her.” Which is what was happening still. Since this was a collection, I thought I would point out that it was still bugged.
She goes invulnerable and disappears both when she reaches 50% life (from a higher % life), as well as on a 45 second timer if below a certain % life). Let’s just say that certain % is 65% (maybe it is, maybe it isn’t).
So if you take her from 65% to 50%, she disappears eventually (you can get her below 50%… with very high DPS you can even kill her outright before she disappears). She heals while doing this. If you are very slow at kiting the sparks, and/or don’t get her down much below 50% life, she can heal above the threshold (which we’re calling 65%). Then, once you get her back to 50%, she’s going to disappear. This can cycle if you continue to be slow at kiting sparks and/or don’t get her down much below 50% by the time she disappears.
This is not a bug. It’s a feature. ANET saying is that your group’s coordination is unacceptably poor, and you can’t pass go, your group’s DPS is unacceptably poor and you can’t pass go, or both.
ONE PLAYER in full damage gear can output enough damage to do this, providing one other player helps kite sparks. A full party ought to be able to output greatly more damage, and kite the sparks much faster.
I have heard about this mysterious Simin bugging quite many times but haven’t experienced it myself. I will add it anyways.
Lupi’s autoattack? His dome? Did we ever find out if those were intentional or bugged? He also still teleports to the far side of the room and will use other skills during his shadowstep making the animations effectively non-existent.
No idea. I consider them mechanics at this point.
Do we consider the fact that in coe laser jumping puzzle, the double panels can be done by a sinle player activating a single panel (but standing inbetween the two) a bug?
That’s an exploit. not a bug!
I can no longer enter dungeons after joining a party. The game seems to think that my connection is faulty althought it appears to not be the case. since the game still allow me to do dungeons alone.
Alphard resets to full health during combat
- Reproduction: Might be caused by Alphard being unable to attack some people.
- Prevention: Wait until everyone is in the area.
- Fix: Do more damage.
You can fix it by making the people outside the bone wall die, so she doesn’t see them as targets anymore and stops resetting.
Also, a common bug in AC P2 :
Can’t talk to Detha after trap building event (so can’t spawn Ghost Eater)
Reproduction : While building the last trap, Detha gets knocked away from the trap by an Elite Ascalonian Ranger
Prevention : Give Detha stability or kite the last group of ghosts so they dont aggro her
Fix : no known fix
And an Arah P3 one :
NPC doesn’t interact with the book to trigger the door to open after Mage Crusher dies
Reproduction : Activate Mage Crusher before first Crusher dies (although I have also seen it happen 2 times in a random pug where we didn’t use split tactics)
Prevention : Make sure the Wraithlord’s Crusher is dead before activating the Mage Crusher event
Fix : no known fix

If you kill him before he has officially spawned (i.e. when he is still invisible), yes.

I don’t know if it was mentioned, but the same happens if you kill first trash mobs before they appear, in molten facility (weapon test) fractal. the ones from flame legion portal before drilling.
Just had a new one on Grawl scale 50.
Opening cinema never happened. Grawl invulnerable. No apparent way to reset it (mass suicide, new character entrance, etc.).
I just did AC p2 with a friend…. and idk if it was a bug or if it happens like this every time….. but the Champ Breeder that comes during the trap/graveling event did not take any damage from any of the pulled chain traps.
Either the breeder got bugged in this specific instance…. or the breeder isn’t taking damage from the traps.

It never takes damage from traps, only the small ones do

It means you have to work on fighting a champ and clearing the trash mobs with the activated traps. Why can’t you pick up the p2 end boss yet you can pick up its smaller pieces? Why was zhaitan one of the easiest fights in the game, how do arrows turn at right angles, why does my whirlwind lock me in place for a few seconds at the end of the animation, how is necro considered in a good place for raids with little to no group support? At this point I think we can safely say that whether or not something makes sense is a terrible measure for judging content, kind of like using Lorde to measure the length of… things….

It still doesn’t make any sense to have one foe running around getting impaled by spikes and taking no damage…. while all his brothers and sisters and cousins and uncles get obliterated like omaha beach.
…and simply because poor design runs rampant throughout the game is really no excuse for ignoring a specific example.
The encounter is already easy enough without the champ taking damage from the traps.
…and if they did change the champ’s mechanics to start taking damage from the traps, the foe would also need its health increased to balance out the change.
I honestly don’t care either way.
…but at least it would make sense.
CoF P2: After failing Magg’s bomb collection event, you can interact with him once more to restart the event, but you cannot interact with him to turn in the bombs. Due to this, the event will fail a second time, however, he will not have any interaction available to make any further attempts.
In the specific run that this bug occurred, a pug in the group died during the event, and logged to their character screen to make it easier for us to pickup the bomb under their dead body. They reentered the dungeon while we were still attempting to finish the event, so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with the bug.

I had this issue with my NA alt account (I am EU), some 2 months ago suddenly couldn’t do dungeons anymore due to this error and for the whole time till HoT (they either fixed it or HoT unintentionally fixed it) I couldn’t join a dungeon when in party. When I tried opening the dungeon first, then lfg for people, this resulted in everyone else getting that error msg.
Whole 2 months anet didn’t do anything about a bug that completely locks an account out of dungeons/fractals despite me submitting the bug several times.
SE p1: Tazza doesn’t drop loot. Only commander does.
SE P2 – after killing Taskmaster and approaching the dredge vehicle, event doesn’t start to bring glowing rocks to our allied NPC. They do nothing and killing them doesn’t fix it.
Can’t skip cutscene’s in AC p2 using esc. In general can’t skip some cutscenes usually in dungeons using esc. Attempting to click skip in the lower right causes me to click on the mastery exp bar so often it makes me want to bang my face into a spike.
Also has caused me to exit instances on accident because of the leave instance button also being right behind the skip button. Really not a great place in general for the button.
Suggestion: Either make an option to toggle the view of the mastery/exp bar, move the kittening skip button just a tiny bit higher, move the mastery exp bar, or allow dungeon cutscenes to be skipped with esc.
