List of Easy Dungeon Paths
- All are easy
- Slower ones to PUG are SE P2, COF P3, HOTW P2/3, Arah P4, TA Aether
As a rule, if time is limited PUGs do AC 1/2/3, COF 1/2, SE 1/3, HOTW P1, then COE if time allows it. CM can be slotted in anywhere, it’s super quick, but is a ball ache with lacking condition removal.

Pugs don’t do AC P2. Because reasons.
Crucible Of Eternity, path 3 is very easy so long as you stack in the right places. Overall, I find CoE in general a very forgiving dungeon. There aren’t many running stretches and if anyone goes down it’s rare you can’t get them back up. But if everyone is new and has no idea what to expect I could see it being extremely difficult. Especially P2 when Alpha is most aggressive.
Champion: Phantom, Hunter, Legionnaire, Genius
WvW rank: Diamond Colonel | Maguuma
If you’re pugging… do yourself a favor and don’t go near arah or TA aether. The simplest arah p3 can easily take up an hour of your time. Join a guild and let them show you how to do it. It’s a million times more enjoyable and you’ll actually learn something.
Other dungeons are all pretty easy once you get the hang of it. As others have said SE p2 and COF p3 are generally avoided because of difficulty/length (and in case of SE p2, mostly annoyance). HOTW 2 & 3 are fine for the most part, the problem there is that bosses have ridiculously high health pools + underwater fighting so it’s booooring and longer.
Especially P2 when Alpha is most aggressive.
How is he most aggressive in p2? He basically just does the crystal and his one shot AoE there.
Alpha is basically the same in both p2 and p3. It’s only path 1 that’s different (super easy mode).
and COF p3 are generally avoided because of difficulty/length
But cofp3 is neither long nor difficult.
edit: i’d say it’s avoided for the same reason ac2 is.

I haven’t done P3 in forever, but I thought it was longer by a good amount. I could be wrong, my memory grows hazy as time goes on. Also, I never really do CoF anymore, too boring.

No this seems about right. People only remember that one terrible pug run prenerf at launch.
And then conveniently miss out that the record is
P3 : 7:23
P2 : 9:43
Of course. P3 has slightly higher chance of being utterly pugwrecked and thus the circle of terribleness is complete.

I know but… pugs can’t get passed the torches. lol
cool thx for the replies and wanted to know if theres any specific paths in cm and ta tht are really easy to do since i wanna try collecting tokens from all dungeons too
thanks for the help
My daily dungeon run is: AC1&3, CM 1&3, TAup, SE 1&3, CoF 1, HotW1. That is all I have time for and sometimes I leave out a couple in there. AC and CM 1 can be kitten pugs for some bizarre reason. The rest are pure cakewalks that can be done all in 10-15 minutes by the average pug.
I do those paths because that is what I can count on an average pug being able to do in one try. TA forward has a skip that can be kitten some players (and other will try to use the JP to bypass it). CoF2 has bugged out on me to many times to have it on my rotation and to be honest I’m sick to death of COF and don’t even run 1 as much anymore. COE are all easy, but I can’t trust pugs. If you have a guild group its really easy.
Alpha is basically the same in both p2 and p3. It’s only path 1 that’s different (super easy mode).
All 3 alphas are easy but path 2 is IMO easiest because he does not use his Teeth of Mordremoth attack. If you range him you can literally walk out of both AoEs.

Why fighting Alpha on range?! I can understand if 3 people are dead already and you have to kite him, but other than that – there’s no reason not to go full meelee.

Even then in p2 melee is the best. He basically just does his one shot attack, if you can dodge that, there’s no reason to ever range.
Hmm I dont know, maybe most dungeons in this game since the mechanics allow you to skip all the mobs and hundred blades the boss to death while they stand still.

Obviously it’s “best” to melee. The point was that in p2 he is so faceroll easy at range that you don’t even have to press the dodge key and you won’t get hit.
