'Little Things' to make dungeons more fun
Buff healing power on enemies.
For example Elite Risen have 157k health but their Regeneration heals 220 per tick.

I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not, as we all know people’s view on giving mobs more health (which is essentially what this results in).
Granted, that currently that regen is pathetic, and it would actually be better to buff it up.

Buff Searing Effigy CoF P1 Boss “Burning Attack” somehow, since it’s very telegraphed and could have some extra effect like freezing the player in shard, which would be greater than others and require the “sharded” player to be taken into downstate for effect to disappear, buff it’s regeneration from crystals so we actually have to lay with the mechanic and maybe constantly spreading low, sustained AoE from the crystals?

People complain about healing power being useless so if it should be changed, mobs that grant regen or heal should be buffed substantially. Maybe then poison would be considered useful.

Keep in mind if something is balance related, its not necessarily something simple. For example, what would be an acceptable lvl for their healing power that would also keep with the standards of difficulty anet wants in a particular area? Is the trouble of determining that number worth the benefit?
After selecting a dungeon from the LFG tool, the window should display a link to a waypoint for that dungeon.

Currently it ticks 0.14% of their health. So in total they get 1.4% health back in 10 seconds. They could easily buff it 10x so it would end up 1.4% health per second. It wouldn’t still be a big deal but at least you could notice its effect.
If they want to go further they can buff it 100x while lowering base health by 33%. Though then it would probably be too hard as people would have to bring damage, Poison, anti-Boon skills or interrupts.
Enemies should regen 20k health per second.
But that would make PVT groups obsolete. :O
Most stuff I can think of is big stuff.
Though I suppose I have kind of missed how in older games you could use crafting to help standout as a teamplayer. Crafting’s surprisingly selfish for a game that makes every other effort to foster cooperation.
- Add a tier of group consumables that only distributes 5 copies of 1/2 hour duration consumables. (So you’d use feasts/stations/trays to feed a zerg, but could also make a smaller cheaper version to feed your party).
- Give Artificer group consumable versions of Slaying potions.
Remove Slaying potions from mob loot tables.

That would almost force everyone to actively play.
A man can dream, right?
I shall shamelessly steal an idea I have seen multiple times already in other threads. I will not claim it as my own and I would give credit, but right now I honestly can’t get myself to look for all sources trying to fiddle out the first.
A little checkbox before joining a group via the lfg tool. “Have you read, understood and do you agree to comply to this party’s description?”
you may keep them to rear new and interesting variants in your basement.

We are not going through this again.
Game over, yo.
Holy carp, this actually came up before?

I don’t think he wants the crafting to be part of the dungeon as in that glorious fractal CDI you are most likely referring to.
Just smaller versions of the sharpening stone stations or feasts and something like that for artificier potions. You do the crafting BEFORE you enter the dungeon, just pop the consumable dispenser for the group at the start. Everyone grabs a bite/sip and off you go.
Edit: Way too many typos even for me…

I actually missed the fractal CDI, as I was way too busy in the Ranger one.
I should probably go back and read that. Mid-dungeon crafting? Sounds like ya’ll got up to some off-the-wall stuff in that thread.
But, yeah, you’ve got the right of it Silber.
Just smaller versions.
There were only a select few – but sadly vocal – who promoted the idea of in-dungeon-crafting. Luckily enough most disagreed or ignored the idea.

It was the worst idea suggested in the entire thread.

I guess his plan backfired when he made that suggestion.
Anyway, little things… hmm. I’m thinking bug fixes, you know, like fixing the broken Arah waypoints.

that’s crazy talk!
But… but… someone had to say it! I had to! :(

Make Subject Alpha’s AoE not dodgeable.
Your a sick, sick man.
