Guild Wars 2

Im a casual player, and not really an elite by any means, and also a pretty massive dungeon bug. I love doing dungeons and fractals and such, that’s a hugely fun part of the game for me. However more and more ive found that i cant stay doing dungeons with pugs. The people are usually not too mean and willing to accommodate all types, but they run the dungeons SO fast. I hate running them like that, i like stopping and chatting, and taking my time with dungeons, it is however hard to do this in a pug and people tend to get mad.

So im posting here, and other people out there on Tarnished Coast (id also be willing to visit other servers if you got a group) that like to be nice and slow in dungeons? Im a roleplay too so IC or OOC it does not matter much to me.

Try posting in LFG with:
LF Slow/casual run or some variation of it.

Don’t join other people’s group unless they say the same because a majority of people in LFG just want to finish the dungeon as quickly as possible so they can do more with their time.

It’s also probably better to join a run with your guild/friends etc. because random people you’ve never met probably just came for the loot/run.

they do dungeons regularly. As well as many world events.

This is the right idea but doesn’t ALWAYS work. I joined a group advertising “noob friendly, casual run”. Group started off fine but once the group hit a wall and people wanted/needed to leave…non-casuals ended up joining and started having people kicked until in the end they left themselves.

LFG tool is great but it doesn’t always get the people you want. Just have to keep trying and work on making friends with the people that do join it so you can form your own group in the future without the LFG tool.

Start groups as i do. Example: TA Aether (NO rush run, good attitude, 2 hours).

Well joinning a guild is a good start for these. Even during rush runs you can still talk on VOIP. It’s kind of a smedium. I’m part time TTS and I know those people talk a bunch about lore, dungeons, and all sorts during every events. And while TTS is a multi-server community there is a good size “core” group who I think only repps TTS.
