I ran AC Story last night for the first time on my 80 warrior. it was first dungeon I had run since I started the game and loot drops seemed odd at best.

I got 1-2 level 80 drops and also some level 27-30 drops. Is this normal when running a lower level dungeon at a higher level?

The bigger issue is that they are soulbound so I have no use for them, can’t hand them down to alts so only real option is to salvage them. I could transmute but one was a ring which is pointless and other was a helm which looks same as one I have, which i have hidden cause it doesn’t look good.

Anyway just wondering if this was common or i was just unlucky.

The disparity in levels is normal. You’ll loot at around level the dungeon is set at and the level you are.

Soulbound is a non-issue. Only accessories and the end-of-SM-reward are soulbound. Everything in else in SM and EXP are accountbound.

Don’r run dungeons for loot, its always bad … run them for tokens so you can get the exotic pieces off vendors in LA. either use the tokens for your final set .. or simply to transmute the skins into other stuff.

The new dungeon coming this weekend may be different as it may drop tokens or loot from the RING ascended gear

Hmm tokens.. something i need to research as I have no idea what they are or how to use them.
