Stop , bearbows are OP and incredibly broken . Should be ashamed of yourselves .
Where’s the naked double bow version?

Sounds unBEARable
Awww yeah!!!
Nice one!
I might be missing something obvious but why no knockback on the kick from brazil’s pov?

So he sent his pet flying? I knew he was mean but the displayed cruelty in this video is just too much for me.
I have to admit that what really makes me impressed is how fast lupicus goes down during the second stage. Not only in this video, but every time I watch a “speed kill”
Nice music btw

It’s reflections for P2. He pretty much kills himself. But you have to stand under him. Most parties use mesmer for feedback, but I believe they used the #5 axe which reflects projectiles. I only watched Brazil’s version so I’m not really sure.
Nicely done, as usual
Outstanding clever use of game mechanics, this is…. inspirational.
5 Ranger! That is incredible game play. Now we just need to see 5 ele with fgs.
Nice video. Now if just a tiny fraction of all rangers would play a bit like you …

Ah, thanks. Cool video guys
It’s too easy with reflects. But good try I guess.
Impressing. and well done.!

Yes, it’s easy with ranger’s reflect mechanic. Skill needs a serious nerf, it’s always abused and is really OP. People just up and use it and BAM, the boss is dead with 0 effort.

Yes warrior will be able to hit 39 k when arenanet adds a dual class system like in gw1 . People will roll warrior\thief , go in stealth and use a backstabbing eviscerate which will hit for 50k +
And warrs will never hit Lupi for 39k damage in one shot… unless Anet breaks something.
Challenge accepted.
Just got infracted for sarcasm. :<
Are there a bunch of messages being deleted from the post or is the forum just acting up?

Even my 39k post was baleeted
I was actually thinking about reflect warrior earlier tbh. ;D
Splash damage would be annoying. Even on rangers, some of us would get hit mid-spin by stuff just outside of our reflect radius.
Does it not still act like its blocking though? Cause you are pretty safe with sword block aslong as you dodge out of melee. If splash happens then thats pretty crappy :<
If the trait changes the block to a full reflect, then yeah, things could get ugly. Of course, I remember someone doing some testing with shield reflects at Lupi and noticing that the reflects weren’t working as intended (but I don’t remember how).
So how excited is everyone for tomorrow’s ranger guide livestream?
I would estimate with the full buffs and a desperate power build, a warrior could eviscerate lupi for 39k. That is a fairly reasonable figure. You would really need both frost spirits to proc, but it could be done.
So how excited is everyone for tomorrow’s ranger guide livestream?
“Alright guys, for gear we are going to use celestial trinkets because rangers are good at condition damage and direct damage. For weapons we want to go shortbow and greatsword, which both benefit from the celestial stats. lastly, just grab any two pets because they all have unique skills. In pve I favor the wolf because the ability to fear a mob is crucial when you have a teammate get downed and you need to get the mobs away in order to safely res him.”
That’s exactly what I thought of when I read the fat red message.

I put some examples of good ranger play in that thread I doubt it will have any impact on the livestream though
Oh my god, remembering his warrior guide, this is going to be marvelous.
I hope I have time to watch it…

Nicely done!
Interested to know if all needed to time and use axe 5 for reflect to work properly or only a few were needed?

Damage-wise, more than 2 rangers reflecting is definitely diminishing returns. There were times that only 1 – 2 rangers used axe 5 and managed to take Lupi from about 65% to 20% health because each ranger got around 10 – 15 reflects. For the sake of living through the AoE, all rangers used axe 5 and probably got in the neighborhood of 5-10 reflects each. It is possible to stand in another ranger’s_ hitbox and survive, but less reliable (and even using axe 5 doesn’t guarantee survival).

Why not use offhand training for a larger reflect bubble?

You have to.

All three videos you can see Call of the Wild on a 28 second CD over the normal 35. They all had the trait.

Considering the last live stream (necro) started out with a recommendation of clerics gear into a well build with blood magic traits….yeah can’t wait. We’ll see if Brazil’s new guide can measure up.
oh it’s gonna be glorious I’m sure considering Anet are the worst players of their own game in the history of vidya games
See you in 2 weeks, Broadicea. RIP in peace.
I don’t understand Lupi kill videos. Is he some kind of test dummy DPS test? He certainly seems to take no skill, judging by the video.
