I don’t know how challenging it would be, but could you get a kill, either solo or in group of fighting Lupi while having your camera zoomed close to yourself? Not fully is necessary, but it might be interesting having slightly less awareness of everything around you like you would when zoomed out.

Did you decide to skip casting Tome #5 on prebuff for the might stacks? It’s a blast finisher and should also be affected by quickness.

Yes, we also buffed the reflect damage through traits, vulnerability and ‘Save yourselves!’ (+ damage for each buff on you)

How does might and bane signet buff the reflects since reflects take the bosses power but your crit damage and precision..Vulnerability and the + 1% per boon would buff it but the power increase has no effect at all on reflects

Your power doesn’t affect reflects.

It was there to speed things up in phase 1 and get him further into phase 2 as we attacked him while he did his aoe. We saved ray of judgement and a couple virtues of justice for 25 vuln and burning along with save yourselves, hallowed ground, and virtue of courage for all the boons to boost the reflect damage.

I figured the might stacks would have gotten overwritten by virtue of justice anyway since 3 of us planned to use it during phase 1. We should have probably done it anyway since we spaced the virtue use out to help with vuln better since it faded towards the second half of the phase since we were saving ray of judgement for before the aoe to reach 25 vuln for that.

Yeh i understand the power boosts your weapon damage, i use bane signet myself. Was simply saying it doesn’t affect reflect damage like swiftpaw stated but it doesn’t matter anymore he edited the post.

Nice kill all the same but as you get more familiar with the fight you can dodge most of his attacks. Not to mention, running 0/0/30/30/10 AH in full zerker plus the 2/2/2 water and monk runes is pretty hard to kill as long as you have your party around you. I run that on my guardian in dungeon speed clear groups since I love having 23 seconds of stability during a boss spike. The only time that guardian dies is if the rest of the party has wiped.

All the same though, nice spike.

Once you get better at dodging you don’t need an awful AH build or longer boon duration.

All the same though, nice build from a year ago.

Edit- Also my initial comment about scummy zerker gear was 100% comedic commentary.

AH is bad and the only reason to use it is because you lack skill.

I was obviously referring to the runes that he stated.. But if you want to be pedantic be my guest. :/

I just find it hardly bragworthy when you’re simply taking advantage of something that isn’t very well balanced. The way I see it, it’s comparable to steroids in sports. You can easily win a bike race using them, but it’s hardly a show of skill or prowess when you have something carrying you along so significantly.

You have to admit that it gets old pretty fast when 90% of the videos are about the same encounter.

I still find the different ways people deal with the encounter to be entertaining enough. Even more entertaining is the stupid controversy the threads always get.

Come to my server or Vabbi, there’s nobody. And I’m not joking. I got to try uninterrumpted solos of the risen priests/statues for hours there :>

Everytime ive done it on vabbi or another low pop server 1 or 2 bots or leeches come along at the end. You can almost full solo them but it would be nice to have them instanced aswell.

The answer is 2 am. There are no french awake at 2 am.
