I’m just finished farming arah for armor set, and after dozen of runs i notice one thing – Lupicus ignore me almost every time. He didn’t cast on me, he didn’t chase me, he didn’t even look on me. And in rare moments when he start walk to me – in last moment he turn around and start attack someone else.

I’m berserker warrior with rifle on him =_=

Maybe he’s afraid.

He generally seems to focus his Life Siphon & double Homing bolt on the sturdiest Medium class with the highest vitality, and his Shadowstep/Puke on the toughest Heavy class with the most Pre or some other weird random stat.

It does kind of make sense though. The Medium there is usually guaranteed to have the most Swiftness + Evades… & maybe even 1 reflect that greatly increases their Ranged DPS when they time it just right. While the Heavy will always have the most Stability booning of any class.

Mostly, Lupi hates me too. In a way that I come into the room and he’s like “oh it’s you! lemme spam all my skills at ya.”-kind of hate.

I’m telling you man, Cleric’s gear isn’t as good as it used to be.

Whenever I play Guardian or anyone plays my Guardian build, they are always targeted by Life Siphon. If there are no Guardians in the group, it’s a Warrior. It may have something to do with the armor rating, but I really don’t know.

While I would melee any day of the week, I don’t think it is reasonable to expect EVERYONE to melee lupicus comfortably.

With my toughness build, I noticed he was teleporting to me and puking at me quite often. He also targeted me with the grubs several times. I even blocked one of his teleport attacks, which was a big surprise. The higher your toughness, the more aggro you get.

Lupi aggro seems to focus from first to last:

• high condi damage (when my engi had his condi equipment he was so loved by Lupicus took all the attacks. On the zerk equipment, I am so free to do whatever I want) (tried it with same group just to check ^^). I also know a few necros having a hard time being so loved. Love is tough!
• high toughness, which is why knight guardians get some too
• the rest

Yep… one does not just simply walk into Lupi’s Fromunda Orchard until they’ve gotten really familiar with every single Telegraph. It’s especially difficult to read them when he ends up half stuck in the stupid wall behind him

Lupi rarely attacks my zerk warrior, my zerk ele, on the other hand, (with a pvt ascended bag and celestial amulet) gets the love for both characters.

Same here on my LH berserker ele. It also doesn’t help that a single hit of Frenzied Blast downs me unless there’s at least 5% defense/hp boosts from WvW.
